We are now in our second lockdown of 2021, and I have been so demotivated lately. I am basically back where I started with this weight loss challenge, and am just feeling so defeated. :(
How are you guys staying motivated during lockdowns?

(We are in a LOCKDOWN lockdown, where police can stop and question you if you are outside of your home)

I’m sorry you are in lockdown. I had been going to the gym regularly before all this. I have missed going to the gym for over a year. Have been trying to walk the dog and do little dumb bells at home. Still not ideal though.

  • Today marks 50 pounds lost since July, when I was at my highest weight ever. I really kicked it up a notch in January when I joined this dietbet.
    To celebrate I bought a rocking lawn chair that has a 300lb weight limit... I don't have to worry about that now <3 <3 and that feels amazing<3 <3

Personally, I like savoury oatmeal, so I do 1/2 cup (measured dry) oats, with salt, pepper and a bit of garlic powder, served with 1/2 cup of cottage cheese topped with salt & pepper. It takes 2 minutes in the microwave, it's healthy, filling, and tastes nice. If I am extra hungry or have extra calories that day, I slice some avocado with it too. :)

Officially on day 6 of following Noom, and I have already lost 4.6 pounds! I know it's mostly water weight, and likely the rest of it is due to the fact that they had an active 5'9 woman eating 1200kcal/day. (Thankfully I figured out how to adjust this and I now get to eat an actually sustainable 1900kcal/day).

I know that the weight loss will slow down after the first week, but it sure is a motivating way to start!

I just joined noom two days ago, and I am hoping that these two apps togrther will be the motivation I need to finally be successful!
