Non-scale victory of the week!

So I've been avoiding sodas, and if eating out have been removing a lot of highly processed foods. I sat down on the 10th with my provider spoke about diet and exercise.talked about how to consume proper foods and how to better track meals and exercise. I've been using g smaller plates to eat food. The sad part is I've hurt my low back from work and haven't been able to go to the gym like I did in the past.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I did slip up a few times, because when you are in pain from standing it's harder to make food for yourself. Mainly I've been doing physical therapy and focusing on how to relax muscles to focus on healing the low back. Ideally I would like to start back up my routine of exercise to focus on gentle non impact. With my physical therapy I hope to utilize the pool at the gym which would have significantly decrease the impact on my hips while healing.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

My goals this week are to incorporate exercise in my life again. I'm tired of not being able to do things. I am hoping to start talking about incorporating excersizes in my core and legs through pt. As working on my back limits my ability, talk about what exercise I can do that would not strain it further. I will also be calling my insurance to see if they would cover gym and personal trainer.

Long-term goal weight

190 lbs

What do you find most challenging in reaching your long-term weight loss goals?

I think that thyroid conditions have caused complications with my weight loss, in turn I just quit. The only time I have ever lost weight is either with a complete makeover of my diet or by exercising over 2 hours a day. My life does not allow me to make an abundance of time for either one of these, so it makes things extremely difficult. I'm hoping with this challenge I can find the community and strength to achieve uncle that is needed so much for my joints and my everyday life. I want to share something to the photo that you see below is of my best friend in the world, and I love her an cherish her. She finds me beautiful and sexy, I don't see it. I want to see it. That day below was really awkward, because I finished an aweful day and had low self esteem with a tight shirt. I'm not sharing this for bad feelings, but I am telling this girl, the awkward, insecure girl in this photo, that smiles to cover up the pain, that she is worth more... She is beautiful, and she'll become stronger, more beautiful, and more free then she has ever felt. Here is to losing weight and keeping it off.
