Non-scale victory of the week!

I walked with my dog all the way to get the mail. That sounds silly, but where I live that's 2.25 miles! We took longer and longer walks the last 3 days and it's been so good for both of us! Biggest victory is my hip isn't hurting as much!!!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I went way off track food-wise during a 3 day power outage. Everything here is electric, so no cooking, no water, no heat. We ended up just eating pizza and takeout :( Looking back, maybe we could have found healthier ready-to-eat options.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

To remember that even when I'm stressed out, I don't need to reach for empty-carb, unhealthy food. That's a big one. Also to continue gentle exercise with long walks. It makes me and my dog happy. :)

I'm not sure... I guess winning my last game, and joining a new one.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Less indulgences and more activity outdoors. (to be fair though, it has been rainy and muddy so maybe I should find indoor exercises I can enjoy as well)

Try more new healthy recipes! Do some knee PT exercises so walking feels stronger/less pain.

Feeling good about healthy food choices. Lots of colorful fresh fruits and veggies.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I wish I could be more active without pain. Just a few walks with my dog, and my hip is on fire. Going to try to find other low key exercises.

Stick to healthy and No beer. I set myself back over the weekend. It's nice to indulge but not every weekend.

Long-term goal weight

What do you find most challenging in reaching your long-term weight loss goals?

I've gotten really lazy, and stuck in a rut with emotional and boredom eating and too much beer. So there's a lot I need to change to get healthy again. Cut out the drinking. Try to eat clean. Be more active. But in a way that starts gently so I don't cause my joints pain and set myself back.

Try not to boredom eat. Keep any snacking to healthy options like veggies with ginger dressing. Limit beer drinking. And to be more active, take my dog for a nice long walk 3 times this week.
