  • GOODMORNING and happy Tuesday! It’s TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY but I want to hear about those mental transformations. This journey is so much more then just the physical. If we aren’t transforming INSIDE, it’s almost impossible to sustainable that physical transformation.

    I’ll share! I’ve been on my journey for 3 years now. You guys know I am currently on vacation. We got Duck Donuts (a dozen) yesterday morning. Before I started my journey I EASILYYYY would’ve binged and ate the entire box by myself. In one sitting. I would spend my vacation in my room, eating food/snacks/drinks and not even spending time outside on the beach. I was so lethargic and all I wanted to do was eat. NOW I spend my time with my family, walking around the area with my kiddos, hanging at the beach. I had my protein coffee, a donut and a few bites of 2 others just to taste 😂 COMPLETLY satisfied. Today my husband went to mcdonalds for breakfast sandwiches. Just the thought of how bloated and sick I would feel had me stick to my protein coffee and a healthy eating bar. I feel GOOD and happy. Food doesn’t control my life anymore

I have always been an emotional eater. I went from being size 4 to weighing 268 lbs. and lost 107 lbs. only to gain 40 lbs. back again during the past year due to stress from a divorce and more emotional eating. Well, enough is enough! I am eating healthy, I am feeling better and I’m a much better role model for my son. I know I’m worth it and I just keep reminding myself of that.

Last month I gave up SUGAR, diet soda, most carbohydrates including BEER.. which was tough for me but now I don’t even crave any of it! It’s nuts, I was a craft beer snob and Diet Coke addict, those who relate know those cravings are STRONG! I made a point to learn more about the damage they do to my body. It finally clicked in my head and now I feel so free. :rainbow: :sunny:

    OK first holy freakin COW!!! I am blown away with all the activity on our dashbaord! SO MANY MEAL IDEAS!!!!!! Im trying my best to comment on all posts but its a little overwhelming so I’m going to 100% answer all posts with questions and do my best to comment on the food/workout posts! Bear with me!!!

    I just have to say again how freaking proud I am of ALL OF YOU for even joining! Its definitely a commitment! I want to start off by talking about our goals for this dietbet and also a giveaway! (I am not stingy with the amount of giveaways I do in here just so you know!😂)

    Yes, this game is about losing that 4%. BUT we need to make it a point to focus on NON SCALE things as well. The number is NOT everything. So I want you to tell me:

    1.) You’re WHY. Why do you want to lose weight/be a healthier version of you? What is driving you?

    2.) What is your main NON SCALE goal that you would like to accomplish (clothes fitting better, developing a new healthy habit, fitting into a goal pair of pants, a specific health goal like better bloodwork numbers, etc)

    3.) Optional: You can post your scale goal if you feel comfortable!

I put on 20 pounds as I had to go on prednisone last fall. I have never ( even at full term pregnancy) weighed this much. My clothes are tight. I want to be able to play with my grandsons who are 3, 1 and 4 months. I need to get healthier so I can see them grow up.
