What do you feel you could have done better this week?

focus on health rather than numbers (sodium, potassium, protein, weight). getting a little obsessive. but also feeling better so maybe it's all worth it...

Non-scale victory of the week!

I didn't binge yet! I did have lots of little things I would have normally seen as failures, but I just made room for it in my plan for the day by eliminating my sweet potato or apple or oatmeal. I'm really feeling so mentally healthy about this go around! Also I feel like my old self eating what I want and also being able to cook a separate meal for my family! It's nice not using them as an excuse anymore. AND I was able to bake most days and only taste my cookies and croissants without binging!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

It's less what I think I could have done better and more celebrating the natural consequence of having a night out with a lot of sodium causing me to feel sick and have a horrible headache, or having terrible heartburn after having a second homemade mini pizza. I'm able to eat foods I wanted at the time in moderation and remember why they don't serve my body well.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

Just keep focusing on the long term goal and be patient. I had a really low weigh in this evening and I'm not sure if it's just a sudden loss in water weight or what, but I'll make it a priority not to be discouraged if my weight fluctuates the other way.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

stick to the diet plan I wrote out that has foods I love to eat, cook, and are easy on the go, but that also completely meets my micronutrient needs and contains very little sodium. I'm trying to get my blood pressure under control without my medication (doctor is on board). I'd love to be active with my daughter and avoiding sugar is so good for that! I always think sugar will make me more energetic but it just makes me lethargic and angry. I want to start biking everywhere we need to go now that the weather is getting nice again.
