Been back at school for 2 weeks (had students for a week and a half). While I haven't gained weight, I haven't lost any either. I'm still trying to eat mostly well, but my amount of exercise has taken a hit. I have to get back into a routine!

I teach in south Texas so I get it. I’m in the same boat but I now have stashes of keto non perishable foods (shakes, bars, fat bombs, Jerky, tuna. Etc. in my closet at school. I’m also filling those shaker drink cups with water and a crystal light pack with caffeine. It keeps me drinking water and it’s only 3 carbs.

I met my goal for round 1, but I'm afraid I'm not going to quite make it for round 2. Will this mean I'm out of the game, or do I have a chance to make it up in round 3? This is my first time doing a transformer.

No, it doesn't mean you're out of the game. It just means you won't be able to share in the winnings for Round 2. Stay strong & you can make Round 3. Good luck!

School starts again for me in about a week and a half. I don't do very well making time to take care of myself once school starts. I'll be putting in long hours daily and spending more of my energy planning lessons, attending meetings, and taking care of my students. I've set some additional goals for myself so that it doesn't happen (hopefully) this year. I am already pretty good about packing my own lunch & avoiding the cafeteria food, but I'd be interested in what additional suggestions you all might have.

A mini fridge to fill with fun healthy snacks and sparkling water for a pick me up. Make sure you prioritize sleep as well (easier said than done, right!?) so you’re not getting snacky when you’re tired. Don’t be afraid to pick up pricier healthy snacks if you really need them! Also reminders on your phone to drink water, go get some steps in, have a snack or MEDITATE (so very important) can’t hurt either. I wish you the best. You are doing amazing things!

  • I ran my first half marathon this past Sunday!! Got a time of 2:30:55. Super proud, a feat that would have seemed absolutely impossible a few years ago, and now I’m already planning my next one!
