Oh man guys. I made it successfully through Halloween 👻 and the weekend! Feel like I’ve been doing really well. Now it’s shark week and the cravings are always strong and the bloat is unreal. My goal is to stay off the scale this week so I don’t get discouraged by the extra weight that always happens during this time and I’m just gonna focus on my nutrition and make sure I don’t gain any weight! It really is! I’m just going to try and drink water when those cravings hit! Cause I know I shouldn’t give in. I am working really hard on self discipline!

  • I had so much planned for the day which was quickly derailed by my growing inability to stop my car.......the brake lines on my car ALL need to be replaced! Barely made it home and now fighting urge to eat ice cream for lunch.

Sitting on the couch hydrating for now. Since that car pooped out on me I had to do a couple things to get one of the other cars in the fleet going I'll hit the road and get back on schedule here momentarily. Thank you for the well wishes and words of encouragement. Looks like I'll be sweating it out in the driveway next weekend after I get all the parts/tools together for this fix. Looks like I'll be jumping into some more diet bets. LoL.

So excited to do this and get motivated to lose some weight. I just packed on 15lbs in a month from compulsive eating and I could really feel it putting my jeans on this morning. Feeling focused on this first day!

Yes I am feeling it too! Over the course of the summer my fat jeans became the only ones that fit right! That's okay, we've got goals and we are going to crush them!!

Building the good habits will make it so much easier! I know that when I can say no to treats in my office that I'll have an easier time saying no to excessive treats at the holidays. Obviously I will have some treats, but building up your "no" mind muscle is very important!!

I did a couple of diet bets back in 2017 and lost about 30 lbs went from 189 to 161!!! Now it’s 2019 and I have gained most of it back. I went keto in 2018 and just keep cheating so I haven’t lost any weight. I am hoping I can lose the weight and keep it off this time. My goal is to slip in to the high 160’s then start weight training. Must get the eating part mastered first - that is why I am here.

  • Started my day off right. Went for a 30 min walk and just finished breakfast. Decided that I’m going to log my food (let’s see how long this lasts) I’ve done it in the past and has been very helpful but also very time consuming. So I put some post it notes near my refrigerator with some short motivational quotes just as a visual to remind me to stay positive. Figured I’d share !!!
