  • Anyone who knows me knows I HATE MORNINGS!!!!! Today I had to work a funeral, and had to be there by 9. I had appointments the rest of the day after, so my only option for the gym was a CrossFit class at 6:30 am ???? but I got my ass out of bed and did it!!!

    Went to work the funeral for awhile and then I got to enjoy my 90 minute massage, which I REALLY needed after 4K of rowing, 300 air squats and a bunch of burpee pull ups!

    I was shockingly down more weight today! I’m getting excited about this weight loss and I really hope it keeps going in the right direction!

I don’t post a lot but I need to just get it out there that I went overboard on the weekend. I relaxed on my carb intake (doing lowcarb) and ate too many calories.

I can still make my weight but Ill need to work hard. I pondered why and I figured out something about myself. I end up going more out of control when I budge just a little bit. If I cheat or eat even a little bit off my plan, I tend to lose more control and convince myself it’s ok.

Knowing that now I think can make it easier to stick to my goals because I know I won’t be able to handle “just a little”. Hope you all do well this last week!

I have that same problem. You think it’s ok cuz you’ll lose it again but then end up losing control and 1 meal turns into a whole weekend then it turns into a whole week. It’s better for me to just say no and stick to what I have planned. At least until I know I can control myself


S**t happens, don't let it define you or force yourself to over-compensate. Go back to what you were doing before and hit each daily target as it comes. I am low-carb as well, had the odd day over 100g of carbs, still losing, still on target. We will win this challenge!

  • Got up at 6 and went to boot camp with my trainer for 7am. I'm 100% not a morning person but it felt good to get up and get it done! Now to start orientation at my new job!

Pretty productive start to the week. Got up at 8:30AM and by 11AM had done 30minutes of DuoLingo, 30minutes of Yoga with Adriene, 1 load of laundry, 30min of Japanese listening study, and got ready while listening to Reddit AiTA stories. I think the benefit of morning activities is that when I get home at 10pm tired, I've don't it all and can just chill out until bedtime. Now let's see if I can keep up the momentum. I seem to always dip in my energy levels by Thursday or Friday with 2-3 days to go.

It’s not excuse but I have a really bad headache today… though I made water goal for the day. And no soda today!!! Just not a workout with a bad headache today. So now I need to push a workout everyday this week for the rest of the week..

If your soda typically has caffeine, it could be caffeine withdrawal. I usually have to wean myself off of caffeine if I start to drink it regularly (it's a love-hate relationship). In any case, hope you feel better soon.
