Non-scale victory of the week!

Tried some new foods including butternut squash noodles and tempeh chili. I gave up diet Dr Pepper (on Day 5 as I write).

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Ate way too much sugar and portions too large. Time to get back on track!

Continue no soda. Add lemon water. Add swimming. 45 minutes of exercise every day.

Non-scale victory of the week!

Started jogging! Have been out 5-6 times. Last night I managed 2.5 miles without stopping. Have switched to a gluten free diet 2 weeks ago and that is resulting in positive changes in my digestion and overall energy level. Got my memorial tattoo for my father, and its just about healed.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I'm not eating enough vegetables or drinking enough water. I've been drinking a lot of tea and I think I am dehydrated.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

Continue some jogging, slowly increase water intake, and start making veggie soup. Weather is changing so that should help increase veggie intake.

Non-scale victory of the week!

Enjoyed a hang out with new friends that didn't involve food. Did a 24 hour fast for detox purposes (water and oolong tea) and noticed how much whiter my eyes looked! Took the dog for twice daily walks most days (instead of just one), have done yoga 9 days in a row - feeling stronger!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I slid a bit on sugar, which was part of my reasoning for the fast day - to get a fresh start. I want to up my fruits and veg consumption as I'm not getting enough.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

Do another water fast, increase daily fruits/veg servings to a total of 8 or more, drink at least 8 cups of water on top of tea each day.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I met a friend for dinner and didn't eat dessert or have drinks, just healthy food. I also cooked a big batch of lentils, steamed potatoes, and homemade peanut sauce; plus made a healthier treat option (peanut butter balls by Oh She Glows). I went to the movies and did not have any candy!!!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I cut way down on exercise because I hurt my back, which sucks. Now I am cleared to start exercising, so I plan to do that.

Increase exercise, eat more greens. Try a new recipe or two.
