  • I am trying to get better about my fasting hours. When I lost weight initially, I began eating around 9am, and stopped around 7pm. For the last couple of years though, I started breaking my fast around 11:30 or 1pm which leaves me hungrier at night. It’s definitely been more difficult controlling my over eating tendencies and snacking.
    A friend suggested that I go back to my 3 small meals, and 2 snacks way of eating— between 9am and 7pm to see if that helps my body release some of its hyper-stressed state.
    I’ll keep you posted on how it goes.
    I’m off to a poor start so far. I didn’t break my fast until after noon today. 😅 But at least it was with nutrient dense foods!

I do that too. I end my eating at 6-7pm and don't eat again until almost 12-1. I am trying to eat breakfast too.

  • Breakfast on the west coast! Sorry for the paper plate, not very glamorous at all! I love peanut butter so I incorporate as responsibly as possible. For my after the gym morning meal, I did an open pbj (homemade cherry), and 1/2 cup of cottage cheese for 360 calories and 20g of protein. I hope everyone has a great day!
