The scale that I used for my initial weigh in has died and I had to purchase a new scale. Is this going to be an issue with the final weigh in? Or does it not matter if it’s a different scale?

It does not but the new scale can show different number(like when you weight yourself at you friends house and is 2 lbs up or down)

I have not been my best self lately and have NOT been great with food. I’m terrified to weigh myself and I could use a major kick in the butt to get me back on track. Any encouragement or advice is appreciated. <3

The first couple days are the toughest then you get into a groove. I lost 100 pounds gained back 60 and now I'm working on losing the last 40- it's harsh and the self hatred is plenty. Like everyone I fight the bad habits every day. You can do this!

I’ve been struggling and the past two days I’ve looked at it one meal at a time... “for this breakfast I am going to be healthy” “just for right now I am going to pass on this cookie”. It’s helped me keep on a better track. It was overwhelming to think longer term. You can totally do this!!!

Sure. You just need to get the steps in, it doesn’t matter what you do to get the steps. I get mine on the elliptical and walking around at work. As long as you have a way to track your steps that’s accepted by Step Bet, you’re all set.

  • NSV wore my solitaire engagement ring (size 6) today with my wedding band (size 7) and it didn’t cause a crazy indentation on my finger. It’s prob been 1.5 years since being able to wear it as a pair again. Still a tad snug but an achievement none the less.

One of my many “wake up” calls to losing weight was when my promise ring from my boyfriend stopped fitting and when I would force it, it wouldn’t come off without soap. I eventually had to stop wearing it but now... it fits comfortably again and honestly one of the best feelings I have had on this journey

So.. I have a question..

When you Americans go for a 5k or a 10k run.. is it kilometers or miles? Bc ive seen the couch to 5k apps and that usually kilometers? So why do you switch between measuments like that?

Anyone else get real bloated and gaining a lot of weight when on their period? :( Are there any tips that help? Exercise is so much harder when you have abdominal pains..

This journey has made me so much more aware of how my period effects me! I seriously dread it. The weight gain is just water and I continue my clean eating / exercise and I often lose after, however , the days of being bloated made me feel like I’ve gained 10 lbs, and kinda messes with my head.

I get extremely painful cramps to the point of being physically sick. I wake up early and get my workout done. Seems to help my cramps, at least for the morning. Also what everyone else said. Consistently drinking lots of water helps with bloating.
