Kind of bummed! After a total of 27 lbs lost in a little over 2 months I allowed myself a night off- didn’t eat most of the rice & cream sauce that came with my shrimp- but I did have 3-4 tastes- plus had cocktails. Weighed this morning & I gained 3 lbs since Friday morning?!?! What??? I totaled all my calorie intake for the day- 1500 (which is a lot more than my usual of late) including drinks. Haven’t skipped workouts. I’m bummed. 3 lbs is 10,500 extra calories so how in the world did I gain 3 lbs?? I’m eating a clean keto diet without dairy or grains.

Alcohol is a no! No! When trying to lose weight. I learnt in the hard way It retains lots of water and plus does not let you burn fat for a couple of days. So now when I drink it Immediately I drink tons of water but still you get some of the retention. :(

Don’t worry!! You did NOT actually gain 3 pounds!! Weight fluctuates so much!! There are so many other factors that go into it. And losing 27 pounds is amazing!! It’s so important to incorporate balance into your life when trying to lose weight! So let yourself have those cocktails and that rice... and freaking ENJOY them!! Drink your water, move your body, eat your veggies and fruits... and the scale will be back down in no time!
