  • Week One Check In.
    I got a late start to this challenge so the beginning of the week didn't go very well. But towards the end I make myself more of aware of organizing meals and getting things like my mindset on better track. I plan to start next week with waking up earlier each day to implement a workout in but also to do an hour of self-reflection before the kids wake up. I'm gonna do 20 minutes of stretching or foam roll, 20 minutes of writing down anything in my head or task list so my brain doesn't get so bogged down. Then 20 minutes of reading a book. After which I'll start my workout. I'm hoping to really make time in the mornings for just me so I can feel better, relax and start enjoying my day before the kids wake up and take over my entire schedule.

  • I thought I posted, but I can't find it. So my main goals for this challenge is to be more aware. I do need to lose weight, drink more water and workout. But I'm not assigning a specific number this particular challenge. I've been slacking between busy life and planning girls camp. Now that camp is over, I'm ready to implement healthier practices. So this 1st challenge is to be more aware and conscious of what I'm doing toward my health. Obviously I want to at least get the 4% loss but that's the only number I'm assigning now. I'm changing my attitude towards it all. Next challenge when I'm more aware I'm assigning specific numbers. If I try to do too much too fast I just end up stressing myself out.

YES TENILLE YES!! I love this. I think we can overcomplicate weight-loss to the point that it becomes a chore instead of something our body should enjoy (getting a healthy amount of nutrients and then getting activity in). I love that you are going at a pace that feels right so that your mind will get on board. You're going to crush this month! Good luck with girls camp!

  • Happy Friday everyone! You've made it 3 days into this game and now... the hard part... the weekend! Stay smart with food choices, and if you can help it, don't skimp out on your workout routines (or sleep, or water). Hopefully you're able to take some time to yourself to decompress from all that's gone on this week.

    Thank you to everyone who has shared their goals here for the week 1 challenge! I've loved catching up and I feel like I relate to all the posts. The energy here is so encouraging and uplifting and I love how everyone is rooting for each other. Keep this up!

    Support can play a huge part in reaching your goals and when you feel like you have a camaraderie of people to report to, you are going to feel more accountable to hit those goals you've made. This is why I love the extra bonus challenge we have going on (to win the air fryer) of checking in once a week. Feel free to share whatever is on your mind during your check-in's, we just want to hear how this is going for you!   • First off – WELCOME! We are so happy that YOU have chosen to be a part of our game. If you haven't weighed in yet, you'll want to do that asap!

    Secondly, I want to remind you of this week’s challenges.

    *For the weekly $10 e-gift card drawing (to either Amazon or Target): You’ll want to do (1) post here and tell us what your goals are this month! On 7/24 I will review all the entries and choose a winner for the gift card.

    *Bonus challenge for the air-fryer at the end of the game: To be entered into this bonus drawing, you'll just need to do a weekly "check-in" here on the team page (this means a SEPARATE post from the WEEK 1 weekly challenge). What I mean is, just post here to the page letting us know how you're doing once a week (for 4 weeks total, so you'll do 4 total "check-in" posts), and that's it! You can share anything you feel like sharing, your high's or low's with this process, something that motivates you, a diet hack you've discovered, etc. As long as you do 4 total check-in's (again, one every week) that will automatically get you entered into the air-fryer drawing. I'll be keeping track of all the entries during the 4 weeks to make sure I don't miss anyone.
