What meat did you use?

Felicia G I didn't use any meat. Just the mushroom with sauce and cheese. They kind of have a meaty texture though.
I really liked them but I love any type of mushroom dish.
I added scallions too. You could top with a cooked meat if you wanted.

  • Yesterday was a great day mother's day calibration. We celebrated with games, a long walk, and of course food. I did go a little off plan with food, but I didn't let my self go completely out of control, as I tend to do. Too be honest I didn't feel like it. It was a great day overall for me, all the moms, and all the kids in my life. I woke up feeling refreshed and did an upper body work out for the first time in months. Starting this week off with a renewed energy

Spaghetti squash has less carbs I think

Eli, the hardest part is slicing the raw squash because it's so tough. It's a workout in itself. Be careful not to cut yourself!! Scrape out the seeds and season it.
After that it's super easy to bake and scrape the insides. After seasoning it, I put it cut side down on parchment paper in the oven 350 degrees F for 60 minutes.

I was listing to the PCRM exam room podcast and they were talking about calorie density. They said when your food is under 600 calories/ pound that is a wonderful strategy for weight loss. Seemed like a good tip so I though I would share.
