I am so on track for this one! Walking with jogging intervals 4x a week, easier walks 2x a week, meal prepping for work meals & snacks so I don't end up hitting the Starbucks in the lobby downstairs lol!

I'm less than a lb away. Lots of water, limiting sodium, and a long walk after an early dinner always does it for me! This is my 3rd dietbet and I'm almost 20lbs down! You can do it too!!!

... well my NSV are that I’ve been eating better (we get the Hello Fresh delivery and it’s delicious.) And I joined jazzercise- and now workout 4 days a week (and walk the dogs). Unfortunately we’re having a heatwave and I’m starting/in the menopause - so my hormones are being wacky. Im super PMS and I’m retaining water big time (and I’m drinking plenty of it.) The scale has bounced up and is stuck on stupid (I may try new batteries) - but I think my body is just trying to adjust to the changes still. It’s true what they say about “after 50 it gets harder”. But, it is what it is. I know DietBet is just to help keep you focused- and I’ve done that. I’ve resisted cakes & treats. I no longer forage for food out of my coworkers candy dishes lol.

Any progress is good! And I'm right there with you with the after 50 challenges, it is harder! But it's not going to get any easier if we put it off, so may as well make healthier lifestyle changes now.


Also there with you. Mystified as to why I’m not going make this dietbet even though I haven’t wavered the last two weeks. Trying to not let it derail me. Fuck the menopause!!!:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

  • Next weekend I have a 50th anniversary black and gold masquerade ball to attend. I will also be on stage giving a speech. Even though I’ve lost 190+ pounds, I’m still not at my goal and finding clothes that fit right can be challenging. I’ve narrowed my options down to these two dresses. I feel more comfortable in the black one but think the gold one might be more stunning on stage. I am torn and would appreciate your honest feedback because I am way outside my comfort zone here.

Just submitted an official progress weigh-in that I am hoping I can use tomorrow as my final weight for this dietbet. I reached my goal this morning and I wanted to immediately capture it for possible use. I read that you can do that, use an earlier verified progress weigh-in to weigh-out with if the photo is within 24 hours or something. Regardless, I'll keep focused on my meal plan for this bet so that I don't gain just in case I have to weigh again tomorrow morning.

I have heard of other people doing that in different games but haven't tried it myself. All have said though that you have to go through the website, it doesn't work on the app.

True! Last time I had to weigh in on the last day possible, but I made it!


Well, if you don't make it but still lost some weight, just think of the $30 as joining a gym class or something. Good luck, maybe you can still pull this off!

  • I haven't posted in awhile, life has been super busy. I've had good days and bad days, but overall the weight is still slowly coming off.

    My husband randomly took this picture of me from behind, and I'm actually glad he did. I think this is the first ever photo of me taken from behind that I actually dont hate. I'm beginning to have a figure! I'm now 88 lbs down from my highest weight, 31 of that since the beginning of this year. Another 22 lbs to my goal.

  • A cool pic from a cool place from my ride today. This place is a 25 minute drive from my house. I’ve lived in Omaha for 38 years, my entire life, and never knew this place existed. Lots of other great picture opportunities, but we were to busy bombing down the trails to stop and take any. Also, burned 1800 calories.

I didn't make it last time either, but I started this game below 170, which was my goal for the last game! So I got there eventually just took me a little longer! I am so motivated this time because I know now that I can do it!
