    Mine is that I actually forced myself to take a break from work and do my favorite livestream yoga class. It was amazing and I am SO GLAD I did -- We all deserve to give ourselves a break sometimes.

  • We are in the last month of this game, so I want to ask you -- What are your goals for this week? This month? This year?

    If you keep your goals in sight, they will be more attainable. I find big goals can be so daunting, so I split my goals up into smaller "bite-sized" chunks.

    My goal this year is to run a 10k in 1 hour. That seems IMPOSSIBLE for a beginning runner, right? But if I break it up into a plan, I can give myself goals to meet for each milestone. Right now, I'm still building the habit of getting up 3 times a week to run, so I'm not holding myself to any speed.

    But I will get there because I won't let myself get overwhelmed! :)

My goal for this week is to complete a 5-day fast. It’s been a long-term goal I’ve been working towards since I incorporated fasting into my lifestyle, and I’m feeling confident this week will be the week.

I’ve also been focused on incorporating self-care into my daily routines and being more present. Whenever I spend my day in autopilot I feel stressed and frustrated, but now that I’m working on mindfulness I feel way less stressed.

So here's what happened. I weighed myself on the 19th. I was back up 4lbs so I worked hard for 3 days and weighed myself again. On the 21st I stepped on the scale and it said 265! Thats up almost 15lbs in 3 days! I was pissed! I stepped off and let it calibrate and stepped back on. It read 234. I stepped off and back on again...240. My husband and I messed with it for a while, changed the batteries and still it was messed up, he tried too and it fluctuated for him. I even have video of it. So we ordered a new one. The new one says I'm 264 which is higher than my initial weigh in back in January so I'm thinking it's been wrong for a long time...

Thank you all for your concern and help. I just wanted to clear things up a bit. I'm going to contact the officials about it and I'll let you know what happens. Much love to you all and good luck with the rest of the challenge. You got this! ♡

PS: the shoes are air foam and weigh literally nothing... less than 1lb

This has not been the easiest time and im gonna prob squeak thru one more time, willpower willing.. Far too many drinks, yup.. Far too much food, yup.. Trying to do enuff to make up for all of that, yup.. Just makes me wonder how fantastic this would be going without being quarantined.. But, is what it is, we are all in same boat.. We signed up for it.. Just another obstacle and DAMMIT, we will overcome.. Lets get it done all, one week to go.. We are here cuz we want it, so lets get it.. On the bright side, think about how much stronger and resilient you’re becoming. Even if you just squeak by, you still managed to be successful in one of the most strange/difficult periods many of us will face. If you can be successful now, nothing will stop you when we are able to go back to “normal.”

after some setbacks, I’m happy to be back in the game and on track to win!

question: is it okay to take pics on two different devices for weigh-ins? I don’t have a mirror in a non-carpeted area, so would use my phone to take the scale/foot pic and my computer camera to take the full body pic. my quarantine buddy has left and I have no one to take my picture 😂

I don’t think it matters, but I have seen people taken an overhead selfie in previous DietBets, so that seems like a viable option for you as well. I prop my phone up and set the timer for my full-body pic.
