Ugh. I’m pretty sure my next weigh in is going to be higher than my starting weight. My father-in-law passed away last week and this weekend/Monday was the funeral. Little church ladies can make some amazing desserts and that’s basically all I’ve been eating.

Sorry to hear about your father-in-law.
Don't give up. I had my family come to visit this weekend and food is a way of being together.
I enjoyed them being here a little too much. Getting back on track and staying focused is the key.

  • What does everyone like to eat in the morning? I usually do a protein-rich breakfast, like two eggs and veggie sausages (I’m vegetarian). I also have to always have my cup of coffee with just a little cream! What do you like to eat to start off the day right?

  • I don’t know if anyone follows Ilana Muhlstein, she is a registered dietician in California and has a program called the 2B Mindset through Beachbody. It is an awesome program/way of eating that can be maintained for a lifetime. She always talks about her “Wonder Whips” which are different variations of Greek yogurt that can help to conquer a sweet tooth but is high in protein. This is one of my favorited that I have discovered:

    Plain Greek yogurt
    Beyond Yourself Infuzer - coconut cream
    Chopped pineapple
    Skinnny B breakfast cereal
