Non-scale victory of the week!

I hurt my knee during a workout on Tuesday. It took me off track from my regular workouts for the week to lighter ones. I was frustrated, but didn’t give in to food.

I modified a few workouts instead of giving up when my back was sore.

Still could have done better with nutrition, but I still lost a pound. That is still an accomplishment.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I am extremely pleased with my nutrition this week. I had to start a course of prednisone for my back this week and was concerned the medication would go against weight loss, but I was fortunate that it didn’t.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I’m pretty pleased with everything this week. Maybe I could have pushed a little harder in my workouts by going up in weights in Liift4.

I did yoga on Sunday for the first time in 5 3/4 weeks since i had hysterectomy surgery on Oct. 1.

I have been working out faithfully for over a year. My husband and I went on a bike ride and I usually struggle to keep up. This time I didn’t. :)

Not give in to indulgences.

Do my best to be 100% with nutrition for the majority of the week. Friday night and Saturday I will be celebrating my birthday, so I know my healthy choices will be a bit limited.

Non-scale victory of the week!

We were on a cruise for our 20th Anniversary. I ate all the foods and gained 7 pounds from the 20 I had lost. :( We did however exercise on the ship.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could have chosen healthier foods, but we were on vacation and I wanted a care free 2 weeks. I will pay dearly now though, but I am ok with that. It doesn’t happen often.
