Hi everyone! My name is Jen and I am a mom of two boys in Ontario Canada. When I first met my husband about 7.5 years ago I was 38, single, and the smallest I had ever been (5’8” and about 125 pounds). Well. I met my husband and his two boys and 5 years later I was married and a full time parent. Busy lifestyle. Having to cook for a family everyday. Running kids to hockey. Not taking time out for myself for the exercise classes I enjoyed. And here we are...almost 8 years later and 60 pounds later. I’m almost 45 by my body feels old and tired. I don’t have energy like I used to - I’m just in a rut. I don’t like to go anywhere because I look gross in clothes. So! Now is the time to change. Hoping this helps kick start my journey

  • It’s easier for me to get exercise in when I’m at home. Walking this one to the riverside dog park is a beautiful 6km walk by the river.
    My challenge is when I’m away at work. 12 hour shifts and a buffet every night.
    I’ve worked this roster for 5 years now and I’ve consistently struggled to find sustainable habits that work for me.
