I can say that fasting has worked in my experience. When I felt like I was needed to eat, I would drink a large glass of water and distract myself by getting up and doing something... usually doing some household chore, yard work... and within the hour that feeling of needing to eat would be gone. This would ultimately help me push through that weight plateau.

Exercising is a huge help for my mental health. Plantar fasciitis kept me from running or walking for almost 4 months. Finally able to start getting out again and it has been such a relief.

I started using a skipping rope. I haven't used one in decades since I was a teenager. I was completely uncoordinated with the rope during my first workout. I worked through it. Then the alarm on my watch went off and the workout ended. I felt unusually happy... like I had just met an old friend once again. It was a good start to the day.
