Holidays are right around the corner! Yay!! This is your wake up call to get some plans in place! Do NOT starve or punish yourself this season. Just be smart. You know what gatherings are coming up so make a plan!! Bring a responsible dish that you can splurge on. I personally always bring deviled eggs bc I LOVE my moms recipe and they are in my meal plans. So if I have several, it’s not a big deal. So find a dish that you really like, and bring it! Start looking now for a ‘skinny’ or dry wine or low carb mixer so you can cut loose if you like. You don’t have to miss out on all the fun, just have fun in a way that doesn’t wreck all your hard work.

I didn’t even know they still made these ........ and why are they 225 :joy::sob:

I hate to admit this because I try to be positive, but I was wondering the exact thing Shay. Everything I use is wireless. I have really nice beat headphones that I don’t even use because they aren’t wireless. Also, all of my music/playlists are on apps on my phone like Amazon Music. If I won this IPod I would have literally no use for it. It would be put up on the shelf next to my beat headphones. I looked it up out of curiosity and they really are selling for $225. I would have no interest or use for them but maybe others do.

Let’s chat about not wanting to workout because it’s too hard or it just plain sucks. If you ever think those two things, then you aren’t doing what’s right for you!! I used to think I just wasn’t ever going to be fit bc I could never stick to running. Well guess what. Running isn’t my sport. I tried all kinds of stuff but it was joining a Jazzercize (thanks mom!) that finally got me to stick with workout. So I want to encourage you to find a workout that motivates you. That pushes you. That’s hard but not so hard that you want to skip everyday. Something that helps you to realize that working out can be enjoyable and not just plain suck. You don’t have to run or lift weights. You can dance, swim, rock climb, row, play tennis, etc. Find your right fit!!

Buying an elliptical hometrainer really helped me keeping on track as there are no weather excuses and you can train for a quick 20min.... who would go to the gym for this shourt amount of time?

Would be sooo great if we could just sleep and lose weight :sob::sob:

Don’t stress! If you’re making healthy decisions, there are a lot of reasons why this could be happening and very few of them involve the fact that you’ve gained weight permanently.

I've been losing fairly consistently but keep caving and having cheat days argh! Up about 2lbs after cocktails and tapas last night.

So today I want you to check your cabinets, fridge, desk, car, purse, etc. and throw away or donate foods that don’t help with your goals. You don’t have to be totally black and white about it and toss everything, but start to look for the cookies, candy, chips, etc. and either finish them in our first week or get rid of them. I try to live by this advice: If I can’t eat it responsibly, don’t keep it in my house. I personally CANNNOT each chips without finishing a whole bag. So I quit buying chips. I started keeping low carb pop corn in the house for when I need a crunch. I also buy snack size bags when I really want chips so that I don’t have the option to eat a full family size. So look for your weaknesses, and try to think of a smart replacement to keep around. Like dark choc instead of snickers bars.

I feel so good that I am not a much fan of sodas or chips or candies! My main addiction are carbs so I am trying to lower them and eat the ones that are more healthy like whole wheat. Good luck all

Ellen H.

I always feel like anything becomes a problem food for me at times...I ate too much cheese while cooking tonight

My diet and exercise has been horrible. It’s taking a lot of time and energy to turn it around

Lol Shay, I have a PF less than a mile away and another one that’s 4 miles away. Both very nice.

Has anyone tried a keto diet?? Diets don’t usually work for me, i currently eat lots of fruits and veggies and cut meat/carbs down to a minimum which has helped me loose weight when I do it ... but my boyfriend is doing a dietbet at his job and he read something about keto diets being really good???? And said you gotta eat cheese and meat LOL. (I feel like I would getting fatter on this diet) So i just wanted to ask if y’all have tried it and if it showed good outcomes?! Thanks!

I haven’t done that but I’ve done Optavia and it’s helped me lose 70 lbs since February with more energy! I’ve loved it so much that I started coaching people. You work with a free health coach, eat 6 times a day and drink water and it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Let me know if you want more info!

I am on my 4th month of Keto and I’m down 44lbs (from 265lbs to 221). It’s hard but damn it WORKS. If you have Instagram, check out my account for my “Keto journey”: @iwishthiswascandy

Best of luck! And I agree with the previous poster. You are worthy of love, weight is not a factor in that!

Thanks y’all! I personally know that weight shouldn’t matter but my family is Indian and i guess in the culture you’re supposed to be skinny idk... sucks though!! I’m mainly doing this for me but it’ll definitely help me feel better about being around fam!
