I went from 53% last week and today I am a measley 20%. I sabotaged so bad. I plateaued the entire week last week and my mind gave up so I binged. I have 12lbs to lose for the final now and I think 9 to lose for this weighin. Hello square one. We meet again.

Amen! ^^ I avoided my scale for a few days because I knew it wasn’t going to be going in the right direction. Focused, waited a few days to weigh, and when I did, I’d lost a little bit. Now, I know darn well I’d gained some, but IDK how much, and IDC :joy: because all’s well that ends well, and that’s why I waited. That 1lb+ loss was probably more like 3.5 but seeing it rise wouldn’t have been motivating for ME...and that’s totally just me. Typically I weigh every day to keep myself inline. See what I posted Monday...you can begin again

Yesssss. Strategy low carb 6 days high carb 1 day. No more full cheat days! Plus walking 9500 steps every day and try to go to the gym 1 or 2 times a week. Strength and/or cardio.

    I was watching “My 600 Pound Life” recently and Dr Now’s patient said, “nothing makes me feel as good as sugar does.” Intellectually I know that’s not true but her statement pierced my heart. I could relate to this girl because I lived as if that were true for far too long. I never would have said what she said but, if I’m honest, sugar was my drug of choice. I am so thankful for the breakthrough I have had and that I now view food as fuel for my body rather than comfort for my soul.

I'm right there with you, with it finally clicking for me (that research about sugar being more addicting than cocaine for the rats really resonated with me, too). It is such a hard thing to manage. You are such an inspiration!
