  • I was way ahead and then slacked off and barely made it today by .1. I haven’t been drinking water AND I ate so much salt yesterday. I FEEL SO DUMB. I should have been ahead by 4 pounds... kicking myself.

I had one of these months too, first hit goal on the 21st, then two days before I was over by two lbs ! Really cut it fine ends the month 0.1 under but jeez I need to be careful this month as the last minute panic was a bit more stressful than I expected !

Just wanted to share my frustration. For the past 3 weeks I have been very disciplined- tracking food, exercising 4x per week, drinking lots of water, cutting alcohol - and my weight has stayed the EXACT same. So. Frustrated. The only things I’m losing at this point are money and motivation 😩 not saying I’m giving up but probably taking the weekend off to recharge.

  • Progress for the year so far (I’m also in the Jan 1 transformer).

    Down almost 25 lbs in 2021, and I already made this month’s goal. I’m hoping to hit my 10% goal for the game this round!

I’m not going to make my goal weight this round, I have totally plateaued and don’t know how to get things moving again. So frustrating! I workout daily and eat well, I also drink 80oz of water per day so I have no idea what to try next. Any advice would be greatly received. Thanks!

Improve. For my workouts I’ve been doing various Beachbody programs but I have just started a BOD group for MBF starting on Saturday (third time doing this program) so I’m looking forward to that.

Honestly it has always been hard for me to figure out what works because my work schedules and just my day to day is hectic. I found that intermittent fasting kick starts everything. I didn’t think I could do it because of my job and the demands of everything however I have it a shot and I started with a 16/8 fast. Basically you’re just skipping one meal a day. I chose breakfast and I was able to eat from 12pm to 8pm daily. From there I tried to choose healthier options for what I was eating. Although I didn’t always eat healthy, the intermittent fasting gave me a little kickstart and I felt more energized, and overall felt better.

I started adding in a calorie count at the beginning of this year because while I was losing it wasn’t fast and I was feeling better but still not realizing how many calories I was actually taking in during those 8 hours... since January 4th I have lost 23.6 lbs doing intermittent fasting and calorie counting. I take a week break here in there and allow myself Grace when I don’t stay in budget. I just start over the next day. The big thing I learned is I have to keep changing it up because my body adjusts quickly to routines and then I plateau.

  • A year ago today I lost my only baby girl in the second trimester. After that, I didn’t care about what I ate and gained all the weight I am trying to lose in this game. I am working really hard to get healthy again, but tonight I am eating a small piece of cake for my sweet daughter, and a glass of wine for me.

  • Today we went to lows for dirt and grass seed, woo hoo!!
    I picked up a 35 lb bag and REALIZED how much weight I had been carrying around!!

    35 lbs!

    I haven't felt like it was a lot because I have a lot to lose, but dang!! I feel awesome that I have come this far!

  • It is my oldest’s birthday weekend! I had a piece of cake on the day, but stayed within my calorie limit. Today is his party and I have to make all this food that I do not want to eat! Well, I WANT to eat it, but I DON’T want to. Haha! I made my round goal with room to spare, but I don’t want to blow it in the last few days. Send me strength!
