I would look at cutting dairy- there is a lot of science and info about dairy and eczema.

Thanks for all the tips folks! It’s actually my hub not me - he’s been doing whole30 which cuts all these things for 2 weeks so far not helped the eczema. I remain hopeful

That's great, how are the prizes won and when are they won?
Is it throughout the game (all 6) or at the end of the entire game? Or at the end of each game?

I asked about prizes as well. You do not have to be a dietbet member to win the prizes specifically for this game. They will draw names (from all players) during the 3rd week of each round and let us know who won in the feed.

  • Happy Friday! While I have always been very successful losing weight without exercise in the past, I firmly believe that exercise plays a key part in how I am able to maintain my weight loss. And selfishly, even though I wake up at 5am to get it in during the week, with 4 kids, I love the "me time" it provides me!

    If you exercise, what is your favorite type of exercise?

    For me, it's running <3

  • Can we talk snacks?? Snacking can be dangerous, but it doesn't have to be! I find that if I keep my favorite healthy snacks on hand, I can stay away from the less healthy stuff in my pantry that my kids love.

    What are some of your favorite healthy snacks?

    I love nuts, cheese crisps, veggies/hummus!

  • Happy New Year! Are you guys ready to make 2020 the best year ever? YES!

    I know many people make resolutions, but for me, I try to avoid that term. Instead, I try to set a reasonable/attainable goal, plan how I'm going to get there (diet and/or exercise), and then put that plan into action. For me, that includes meal planning, a workout routine that I stick to (even when I don't want to) and a weekly cheat meal so I don't feel totally deprived!

    Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how you plan to attack your 2020 goals?

I think focus on the positives instead of the negative statements helps!
I will drink 3 quarts of water a day versus I will not drink any soda sends a better message to the brain. If I focus on no soda...I’m still focused on soda, when I focus on more water...I’m focused on water. I think it’s better to focus on the water, since I want to increase that, I let that be the focus...eventually I forget all about the soda

That's great progress tho! Congratulations on the weight loss!!! I struggled and trailed right above the goal the last 5 months :sob:. It was so close I didn't know if I would make it until weigh in morning:flushed:
