Hello everyone! So excited to get to know everyone and motivate each other to be our best. I started my weight loss journey June 20, 2021 and I have lost 29 pounds (was 31 but then the weekend happened lol). I still have a long road ahead but I’m proud of myself for starting this journey. This is my 6 diet bet, I won 4 of them and currently have two in progress. We can do this!

  • Evening workout! With work and family it’s hard to make time to go to the gym. I’ve been pushing myself to go twice a day even if it’s for a quick 30 minute workout.

Good job! I find walking on my lunch break is a nice way to get activity in during a busy day. I also get up for the early gym times but sometimes you need the sleep!

  • This was me 6yrs ago. I really believed and thought I was "fat". But little did I know that life was going to get really hard and I would put on 100lbs in 6 years.
    In 2015, I opened my heart to love after 5yrs of being single and the man I gave my heart to crushed it. That started my bad eating habits which included drinking at least 33oz of soda a day. By 2018, I had gained over 30lbs. In 2018, I experienced true heartbreak, I lost my 1st grandbaby three days after she was born. That really sent me into a whirlwind of wild emotions and every night I had multiple anxiety attacks. In a year, I gained over 40 lbs. Food was my only comfort even if it was temporary. Then in 2019, I lost my dad and that's when I completely stopped caring about my body. Two years later, I was 100 lbs overweight. In May, I had a doctor's appt and I really thought the scale was broken. But that number on the scale made me realized that if I didn't do anything to stop the weight gain, I wasn't going to live to see 50. My kids and my two new grandkids were going to live a life without me. This is why I joined Dietbet cause I need all the support I can get. I'm already down 25 lbs since May 2021. I'm taking it nice and slow, 10 lbs at a time. I'll be successful and get healthy for myself and for my family.
