  • Good Morning everyone!! And a happy Monday to you all! I know more people are going to join in as we start so please remember to introduce yourselves :).

    I always enjoy kicking off our first week with a “staying active” challenge! This week I want all of us to really focus on getting our sweat on! I would like to see at least 30 minutes each day of activity this week (5-4 days total). You can walk, run, swim, dance, or even take a kick boxing class :). Just focus on getting that heart rate up this week! I think this is the perfect challenge to jump start our motivation and drive! You can either post daily your fitness tracker results, a sweaty selfie, or even a simple “I did ____ today”. OR you can wait until the end of the week to let me know you reached your goal. Feel free to post on the DietBet page or Facebook. I check both places several times a day.

    I will pick two winners who completed the challenge on Monday morning 3/24/19 PST for a $10 Amazon Giftcard. Let’s get moving!!

  • Good Morning Strong Squad!! I hope everyone had a great and productive weekend! I feel like this weekend was a bit of a struggle for me personally so Im ready to take on this week head on! First off a huge congratulations to our two winners of the $10 Amazon Giftcard, Working Mom and Vicky H. (picture with hair in bun).     For this week’s challenge I would like for us to focus on getting at least 4 days of exercise in this week (30 minutes minimum). That can be walking, running, swimming, workout class, pretty much anything that gets your heart rate up there :) You can either post a picture of your workout summary (like I did below), take a picture of your workout, or write down what you did for the day. I know it can be easy to skip a workout especially when it’s so cold out right now so hopefully this will help us to stay active. Today I walked 2.85 miles in 45 minutes and it was really hilly. I worked up a good sweat and my dogs loved the hike.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.. if you were "off" track this weekend don't beat yourself up, accept it and move on, make it your mission to have a fantastic week, if we look back with guilt we will likely take that feeling into the week with us, so head up and start fresh :)
    I have some Smart Sweets candies to giveaway ( https://smartsweets.com/ ) I love these and always have a bag in my purse for when I need a sweet treat but want to stay on track, just 3g of sugar and 3 WW freestyle points per bag..

  • Hi friends.. the game is now underway.. I like to really think about how I am going to approach these 4 weeks and pick a plan I know I can stick to. I am famous for joining dietbet games, "half-assing" it the first 2 weeks and then scrambling the last two weeks ;) I don't want to do that this game, so I am setting a goal to be at 50% of my target or more by the start of week 3.. I have 6lbs to lose to hit my overall goal, and I know there is nothing holding me back from losing 3lbs in 2 weeks, so here I am motivated and ready!!
    I offer up a weekly prize for a little added fun, these water bottles from https://www.motivationalbottle.com/ are my favorite and I have one up for grabs, the winner can choose the style. I'm always curious where my players are from so please share, me... I am in Ontario, Canada.. about 45 min west of Toronto. I’m From the coast of North Carolina—Atlantic Beach. I am trying this new little trick-whenever I reach in the fridge for a Diet Mt Dew or the pitcher of tea, I make myself drink an entire glass of water first.


I’m from Atlanta, Georgia. I guess I’m a bit odd because I love water. But I have two of those cool, Glacee glass water bottles with the crystals in them, and that makes drinking water even more of a treat.
