Non-scale victory of the week!

I still ate whatever a couple times this last week.even though I tried to keep it healthy and in moderation. I tried intermittent fasting the last few days making sure I ate a large portions so I could make it through the work night. Disciplining myself to not eat after a certain time until the next eating window.

What do you find most challenging in reaching your long-term weight loss goals?

It is just a struggle. I have already lost approx. 28 pounds since June when I switched my employment. Part of being healthier was switching from an office job to working as a custodian so I would be more physically active. I am a single mama raising my kiddos without any child support or family. So I have very little time outside of work to dedicate to myself. Switching to a job where I have no excuse for not being physically active was a right direction choice. So I can be healthier for my kids. It was so nice to see the scale say 208 I never thought I'd get that low. I have tried and tried to diet before. I am excited to have a community behind me cheering me on instead of feeling like I am alone on this journey.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

Well, I have a very physically demanding job. Exercise is not a goal for me it will just be there no matter what. My goal is to eat cleaner and get rest when I can.
