Darn. The carb loading for my half marathon this last Saturday and then subsequent getting sick have done me in. :( Was under last week and now over my goal weight. Oh well, next time.

How much over your weight? You still have a few more hours to submit.

Crys

I'm feeding my cold to get better faster, so not worried about meeting it. I still lost 7 lbs, just didn't win this bet.

I didn’t make it this time...was unwell for a couple of weeks and so didn’t eat very well. Still lost, but was 1.8 off goal!
Well done to everyone who made it!!

If all else fails, fasting works! Had to do a reboot and finally went through the last hump and feeling great. Hang in there folks!

Just finished a 2 day fast. I was gaining and losing the same 3 pounds. Dropped 4 pounds and past my plateau!

Kat

Same Payton! I use fasting to break a plateau. It usually works if I’m consistent with my meal planning.

I'm getting bullied and disrespected at work by a co worker and head boss. I ate a bunch of chips and applied to some jobs for a second job... How should I deal with them. I'm not at HR level yet but I hate their behaviour and think they are unintelligent now. :( I like to be positive but I hate tension and wish I could feel respected at my job. I work at a make-up store...the chips aren't anything I care about to much I'm over it but like I'm injured so my cooping technique was deff food. I'm sad...

I’m so sorry to hear that. My biggest advice is to move on, if possible. My last workplace was toxic. I stuck it out for years, getting bigger and bigger, and more and more depressed. I was horrible to be around and my marriage was falling apart. I finally got the courage to decide to leave, with no job to go to. The next day the job I really wanted was advertised and I got it. I’ve been there almost ten months and life is so much better. My colleagues are lovely, this year I’ve lost 30 lbs, and my marriage is in a great place again.

You need need to put your health (mental and physical) and relationships first.

You're amazing Kathryn!!!

Thanks everyone. I'll keep things documented and actually just underwent 3 meetings with my boss to resolve our issues. And another meeting and a half to resolve another. I'll be keeping track about my coworker a bit more but we both know we need better communication. My moral is up.

Thanks for listening everyone.... I still am looking for another job. I still feel like I deserve better hours and for some reason they won't budge. I'm going to work on moving on. But at least this stuff has gone well that I mentioned. Aww.. thanks u guys. I feel the love!

  • My husband and I finished another 5k today. We both kicked butt with improving our times. He ran his in 26mins and myself was 33mins. The left was our first 5k and the right was today. He's down 80pds and I'm down almost 60!!!

  • Macros are on point today! I’ve been feeling lonely lately- but I’m continuing to crush this journey! Slowly but surely.. I just love that it doesn’t feel like a “diet”.

This has been a very difficult week, 2 of my former students died from overdose and suicide. I have been eating my feelings for most of the week but am starting to feel a bit more collected and able to take better care of myself. I haven't made nearly any progress but hope to stop the backsliding today. I start fresh now.

I absolutely understand what your going through. I lost my boss/friend/running partner to suicide this week. It’s awful and I too just needed to eat my feelings. But it’s ok to take care of ourselves sometimes. When you are ready just start again. I’m going to do the same.

Lori H.

I’m so sorry. I am a teacher as well. They still feel like they are “our kids.” No matter how much they grow up. I’ve lost 2 to overdose and one to a car accident. I will be thinking about you. Hang in there.

Me too!!! My mother in law needed surgery and I have been by here side in the hospital. Excercise just didn't feel like the right thing to do. However it's ok. Allow yourself to rest and feel better. We will get back up there and push extra hard. We got this.

Kellycology

If you’re sick, give yourself time to rest and don’t beat yourself up. When you’re feeling better, jump right back in!
