Weightloss is SO mental (much more than physical in my opinion). Our mind plays tricks on us - tells us we CAN’T do things when really we CAN - our bodies are capable of almost any transformation we commit to .. it’s our minds that often need the extra encouragement. I LOST 6.2 LBS!!!!! (just 3.6 more to go)
Honestly, I was avoiding the scale these past few weeks because I haven’t been working out. I FINALLY decided to submit a progress weigh-in and I’m so glad that I did. I was following someone’s advice by following the 80/20 rule: Eat healthy 80% of the time and cheat 20%. It has definitely been working ❤ Shout out to Miranda H. for suggesting this to someone else on the page!

This was a rough week for me, lots of hours at work and plenty of crap food to go around. I’ll weigh in again on Monday and get back on track over the weekend. Motivating myself to stay active this weekend after an exhausting week at work!

My plan was to stay active and not overeat this weekend as well as two days of working out. This morning I stayed busy running my kids around to various events. I haven’t worked out yet, but I also haven’t over eaten. Working on a balance.

Good morning everyone and happy HUMP Day ! I’ve been reading all your comments and suggestions on how to make this DietBet as engaging as possible. Each day I will be doing 2 different things:

1. A small exercise challenge ! I will encourage each of you to complete a very brief challenge and then you can comment “DONE” once you have completed it

2. Each day I will post one of my favourite recipes/meal ideas!

Next week we will be doing some fun competitions with prizes ! So stay on the lookout for those!

Is anyone not starting the meal plan at all until the 18th? Or are most starting already...I’ve decided to wait until the 18th (not pigging out or anything until then) I just want to see how it goes 100% compliance for the exact time we are in the bet 😊
