Question- I will be away the last week of this DietBet. 1) are weigh-in check ins mandatory? 2) what is the absolute last day to do your final weigh in? THANKS!!

Rachael F.

You get 48 hours after the end of the DietBet to weigh in. So if it ends on Oct 24, you have until midnight on Oct 26 to weigh in.

  • TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY!

Lets see those transformations!! BIG OR SMALL! Lets motivate eachother! Also would LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear some mental transformations as well!

I am so sorry I haven’t been commenting on everyones posts. I am DOWN from this sinus infection (JUST a sinus infection thank goodness!) But my head feels like it’s going to explode! Ive lost 4.5 pounds since the start of the bet most likely because I have no appetite at all. Hoping to feel better soon! Husband is off work and going to watch the kids while I sleep it off today!

Lets focus on WATER today! (ME TOO). Water is so important for weight loss but also for overall health! For me I love to drink a lot of water because it helps me feel fuller during and in between meals! It also flushes out my body and keeps me from being bloated!

The recommended amount off water per day is 1/2 your bodyweight in ounces! So for example if you are 200 pounds, the recommended amount would be 100 oz! So comment below your goal for the day and check in periodically throughout the day to stay accountable!!! I will choose 2 winners from the comments to win a brand new IRON FLASK. My fav insulated water bottle!!!

My goal is 150oz! Starting on my first 40oz bottle!

  • I am SO SORRY for the confusion. I don’t know what the heck happened, but my original giveaway post, where I also talked about the importance of drinking water, was deleted & then reposted with only half of the text😒 I didn’t realize until today when I came to pick a winner. SO! I will be combining the week 1 & week 2 giveaway here! You only need to comment once with how much water you currently drink daily to enter to win for both weeks. I’ll leave what my original post was supposed to say below!

    WEEK 1 (& now week 2) GIVEAWAY!
Ok people, I want you all to start drinking some serious water. You should be drinking half of your body weight in ounces of water daily. It will help you flush out toxins, drop any water weight (which is inflammation from your body holding onto ANY moisture it can because YOU AREN’T DRINKING ENOUGH WATER) and helps your body run the way it should. Yes, you will pee. A lot. That is not an excuse to not drink water 😒 Think of it as peeing out fat, every time you pee???? To enter to win a $15 amazon gift card, comment below with how much water you currently drink! Winner announced Sunday!

  • I just like to do a little check in on Saturdays and prepare you for the week ahead. HOW IS EVERYONE DOING?! I know we just started but I want you to reflect on the last few days.

***Tomorrow we will be doing Set Up Sunday so start thinking of how you want your meals to look for the week! I will be doing this also and posting here!***

Comment below and tell me 1 thing that went well this week and 1 thing you really want to work on for the week ahead! I will pick 2 people to each win $50 PayPal cash!

My goals for this week are to STICK TO MY MEAL PLAN to the T! And to get my butt to the gym every day that I can (working around husbands work schedule) and to do AT LEAST 20 minutes of cardio along with my lifting. Since in maintenance I’ve usually just been doing 10 minutes but I really want to get leaner for this photoshoot so I’m going to push myself this month!

I’m down 2.7 lbs! This past week I stayed within my points most days but dipped into my weeklies a few days. My goal this week is to stay within my points as strictly as possible and to drink more water!

One thing that went well was my run friday night. It's cold but I brought both of my kids. My three year old held my hand. I teared up. My 9 year old who gained a little ran with me too and didnt stop even though I knew he was struggling. We then weighed ourselves sunday and figured out how much water we all need to drink to help our bodies. This is turning in to a family thing this time which makes me more accountable because I'm on stage with the biggest audience ever!

  • THE GAME HAS STARTED! OMG. I am so pumped and ready for this and I hope everyone else is too! I am going to kick things off by introducing myself for anyone here who doesn’t know me

My name is Felicia Keathley and I am a 25 year old stay at home mom of 2 boys! 3 years ago I started my weight loss journey at 302 pounds at my absolute rock bottom. I felt like I had tried SO many things to lose weight but would always end up quitting. I was at the point where I wanted to get weight loss surgery but my insurance needed proof of a failed weight loss program. So that’s why I joined WW (weight watchers) basically just expecting to fail. 3 years later here I am! Down 145 pounds naturally with WW and exercise

I truly believe I was put on this earth to share my story and help others not only lose weight but change their mindset to be able to keep the weight off. So like I say all the time, YES this is a weight loss challenge, I also want you to dig deep and focus on all the other aspects that come along with weight loss. NO MORE all or nothing mentality. NO MORE quitting after one night out. This is forever. And I am here to help.

Lets kick this off with the first of many giveaways! Comment below what your goals are for this game (you can share your scale goal if your comfortable) but I want to hear those NON SCALE GOALS. I will pick 3 winners to each win $50 PayPal cash!

Stay tuned for Set Up Sunday where we will set up for the week ahead! The game is starting on a Thursday so its kind of weird timing. But take these next few days to write down some meal ideas, snack ideas, etc. LOTS of which will be posted here. POST AWAY! We all want new ideas!

I will be in here everyday with a new post so make sure you’re checking back daily! I try my absolute best to like and/or comment on everyones posts. I am a mom of 2 SO you will probably hear from me more at night time or nap times lol!

If you need any technical help you can email support@waybetter. com

    WELCOME!

I am ready for this to kickstart me back to my goal weights 157 is the area I feel most comfortable at chasing after my two young boys! Quarantine has been a little tough on healthy habits - gonna use this time to focus on restarting those and other healthy routines

Late posting but I wanted to comment. My goal for this game is to get a handle on my sugar intake. That includes artificial sugar too.
