Non-scale victory of the week!

not so much my victory but my kids, they have completed 2 whole weeks on a keto lifestyle and have adjusted mostly good. Except my youngest son is giving the most push back. He’s autistic and this is causing a lot of emotional upheaval between school starting and new foods.

it’s always meal prep and will probably ALWAYS BE meal prepping

probably not eating everything that sounded good, this last week was period week and a really rough one from the start, so the fact I didn’t give into my brain cravings is a win.

I have tried a lot of new things this week in preparation for school starting. lots of meal prepping and new recipes :)

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I really don’t know, I was very overwhelmed with school coming up and issues with my youngest son’s IEP and just had an extremely emotional and taxing week. I probably could have logged my food better

This was a little over a month ago but my husband bought me a new upgraded wedding ring before we had our last daughter a year and a half ago bout it’s never fit, it now fits with room to spare!!

Non-scale victory of the week!

I did a lot of meal prep which helped tremendously! I also made some baked goods for the first time on keto which helped me beat some cravings because I’m starting my period. The weight drop after ovulation week also made me feel much better because I’m starting to recognize those signs and understand I won’t lose during that week and may even gain. But it’s okay as long as I stick to my eating plan, it’s just going to take time!

I forgot my prepped meal at home for Easter dinner with my family and luckily my lunch had been pretty filling so I was able to resist all the food at the gathering and just fast and have water for the rest of the day
