For breakfast I had a protein shake. I just added some unsweetened starbucks coffee. I'll post pics.

  • Inspiration from my girl Caitlin. Cauliflower rice with veggies. I dont like meat so for protein I eat lentil beans and or boiled eggs. Being prepared really helps so I don't eat fast food when I'm hungry. Yaay to a healthy lifestyle, loving it and loving this great group for helping each other with accountability.

  • Hey everyone, good morning! Just did a weigh in this morning and I'm down 1.6 lbs. Not a lot but I'm happy the scale is going down. I just started to eat healthy during the weekend and did 1 hour of walking each day. This morning I made myself smoothies so I can drink it throughout the day. Here is a pic below??. Your definitely right Carlee, but for me I add oats to my smoothies and helps me keep full. I also alternate my smoothie days with full meal days. It helps me a lot.

Yaay! My weigh in has been accepted. Let the diet games begin. My starting weight is 319.6, goal weight after 4 weeks, is 306.8. I'm so freaking excited there are no words to even describe my joy to begin this journey of healthy lifestyle. Thanks everyone. Peace and love.

Hi everybody! My name is Deqa, and this is my first dietbet. A little background about me, I am a 31 year old mom of 4 boys and 1 girl. I live in San Diego. I'm so tired of being overweight. I currently weigh 322. I never have energy to do anything with my kids, I'm always tired and just want to sleep when I'm not working or in school. I completely cut ties with my friends and became anti social. I used to love to dress up but now I don't care. All this because my weight makes me depressed. I have been wanting to start to lose weight since January but I never actually put the plan into action....it was just a thought. Last week I was scrolling through Instagram when I accidentally clicked on 509s DamnFine insta page. I looked through her page and was instantly inspired. So here I am, in my first dietbet and so freaking excited to start this new chapter of health and wellness in my life. My goal is to be more healthy, I dont have a number yet but just healthy. Also I have an upcoming trip at the end of June so this dietbet couldn't have started at a more perfect timing. I feel like the universe aligned me to meet this fabulous lady on Instagram that day because like I said I been wanting to start I just didn't know when. I hope to meet new friends here. Hi Deqa. Let's do this. What is the worst part is that we are the ones doing it to ourselves. Results like Caitlin's really show how we have the power to help ourselves! I've been "watching" since Jan 16th and keep yo yoing the same 20lbs. Here's hoping to crush that number. Someone posted, make May count. For all the time I wasted, I love the idea of making May count!
