Long-term goal weight

145 lbs

What do you find most challenging in reaching your long-term weight loss goals?

I find that committing to anything is one of my biggest challenges. If it’s not an immediate gratification, then it’s harder for me to pursue. I can’t get passionate about something that is long term and I don’t dislike myself enough to change it. I mean, I definitely don’t love my size but I love myself enough to not deny it the things my brain thinks it wants. So maybe if I look at it from a programming angle, like I’m going to get my brain to start needing healthy options, then maybe I can do this. But mainly, I’m doing this for my husband and best friend first, because I can see how our weight, burdens him. He has gotten heavier so I can be his motivation. I’ll certainly go for it!

This week, my first goal is no drinking and no pizza! (That’s really my goal!) Second, I’d like to lift weights a couple times this week.
