I am so excited that I completed my first DietBet!!!!!! I have felt my confidence soar during this last week.

Anyone here been successful doing multiple bets in a row? I feel like 4% was an okay goal for my first bet because I had fallen so far off the wagon. But I’m nervous to sign up for another because my weight loss tends to slow down substantially after the first couple weeks.

I’d love some feedback.

I did 2 in a row and it was helpful for me. It helped me not just go right back to eating everything and gaining the weight back that I lost. Plus I think to gain long term habits that will stick its good to do stuff for longer than a month to really have it set in. Good luck either way!

This will be my last 4% dietbet, but I'm in a transformer right now. 3% 2 months, 2% next 2 months, then 1% 5th month, 6th month maintain. Minimum 10% of weight in 6 months.

You guys I'm so happy I could freaking cry. I just did my final weigh in and I DID IT!!! Might not seem that exciting but last weeks weigh in I was feeling really discouraged. You see, the week before I was at 88% and then had a REALLY bad weekend with my food and drink choices, so when I weighed in last week I was only at 5%. 😭 Ya, I figured it was mostly water weight but it was really discouraging. So I decided to really buckle down this week and I not only hit my goal but by over a lb!! Woohoo!! Doing the happy dance!

    What is one thing you are proud of this week?

    Personally I am proud of the fact that even though I have been traveling for work this week I have made relatively great nutritional choices and I am heading home today to finish out the week strong!

  • Week 2 Move It Challenge
    Yay! You made it through the first week of our challenge! So many of you did such an amazing job completing last week’s water challenge! Not only did most of you hit your goal of drinking 80 ounces every day most of you exceeded it! Way to go!

    This week (11/2-11/6) I challenge you to get your moving. I challenge you to incorporate (and track) at least 45 minutes of exercise every day this week Mon.-Fri.! Like I have mentioned previously I track my exercise by hand in my planner, but you can use any tracking app, a note in your phone, whatever method you feel will work best for you!

    Submit your tracking by the end of the day on 11/7 to a check-in thread that I will post the morning of 11/7 to the group & the winners will be announced on Sun. 11/8 along with the next challenge! This week’s winners will get my favorite Stainless Steel 10-cup Food Processor and Vegetable Chopper! I will be choosing two separate winners at random. One winner will be someone who completes the challenge in its entirety & one will be someone who tried their best but may not have stayed as consistent as they’d hope! Remember 45 minutes of activity could be a virtual yoga class, walking the dog, vacuuming the house, anything that gets you moving! You’ve got this!!! Let’s focus on getting our bodies moving this week!

I was able to meet the 45 minutes of exercise! I started moving whenever I had a chance. I work from home so I started walking around the house during my meetings, walking in place, or lifting weights. Took walks with my kids. Even walked in place while waiting for the doctor. Used the elliptical at night. Definitely feel a difference. Was a little sore but my back was not hurting as much.

    I first want to extend a warm welcome to all of our new and returning members! I am so excited to have you here with us! Throughout the game I will be hosting fun (free, you do not have to pay the $5 membership fee to participate) weekly challenges where you will have an opportunity to win some awesome prizes!

  • WELCOME FRIENDS! Just stopping by real quick to say hello and let you know how excited I am to have you join us for this challenge! Weigh-ins begin as early as tomorrow morning (23rd) but you have up until the second week of the game to officially weigh in. I want you to know that there is a weekly weigh-ins hosted by Dietbet, but the only weigh-ins that are officially required of you is the one at the beginning of the game and the one at the end of the game.
