I know we’re at the end of this DietBet but I wanted to recommend a documentary on Netflix I just watched called ‘The Magic Pill’. It really shows the importance of eating and maintaining a healthy diet and the positive effects it can have on the body vs unhealthy eating and taking pills on pills to try to cure everything ... figured it could be good motivation to keep up healthy eating habits after this ends!

Ahhh woke up this morning and made my goal!!! Almost into the 140’s which I have not seen in a long while. So excited and so thankful for having such a supportive group... now the tough part of maintaining this for another 2 days lol.

  • Still smiling even though I won’t make this goal. I did early on, but stuff happens and things don’t workout how we think. Just glad to still have motivation, even though things haven’t been working out for me lately. Just need to turn it around: mentally, emotionally and physically.

When I start to notice the little things like maybe my clothes are getting a little looser, my workouts are becoming easier or even just feeling more energized/stronger throughout the day that makes me want to keep going... I just remind myself how I felt before and knowing that I feel so much better now I don’t wanna go backwards! “Its a slow process but quitting won’t speed it up.”

Yep similar to Leslie K (above) said, when I workout or go for a run and realise how much easier it feels and go up weights or run faster/further. Then I think about how much I struggled when I started and how happy I am now.

Body clock is getting used to early mornings and honestly I’m loving it...until about 8:00 PM😂. Woke up at 4:00, lit some candles, did the dishes, took my time just enjoying the quiet. Got out in garage for workout and just moved. Didn’t complete my plan of boxing/rowing because I wasn’t feeling it but kept sweating with treadmill and stepper. Could have done more but at least I made something happen right?! Going to try to go for a swim after work later to burn a few extra calories. Gotta drop the last 2lbs!

About 2 years ago I lost 35 pounds and I’ve just been stuck in the same 10 pound range for a while now... even though the scale isn’t budging as much as I’d like still thankful for this DietBet for pushing myself to get back to working out 5-6 days a week and eating better💪. Hey you guys,
So I won't be able to win this one. I'm going on vacation tomorrow until 10# June and I still have 4lbs left to lose. But I lost 3 lbs and I feel more confident in a bikini now so I will be able to enjoy my holiday more. Definitely still a win!!! I WILL continue after I get back though and work harder than before! I bet you'll all rock this challenge and I wish you the best 💓
