    Keeping healthy food nearby can help prevent you from eating something unhealthy if you become excessively hungry.

    Some snacks that are easily portable and simple to prepare include whole fruits, nuts, baby carrots, yogurt and hard-boiled eggs.

    What quick and healthy snacks do you keep around to help keep hunger in check?

I eat a lot of string cheese, ham roll ups (lunch meat, cream cheese and a pickle), nuts, peanut butter, and sometimes pork rinds (not the healthiest, but I do keto).

  • The 3rd challenge is the Nutrition Challenge

    It starts on Monday!

    Here is the challenge if you choose to accept:

    *Eat 5 servings a day from the fruit/vegetable group 5 days this week.

    It can be all vegetables or any combo of both. What is a serving? For the purpose of our game we will use the American Heart Association definition: Vegetables: 1 cup of raw leafy vegetables (about the size of a small fist), 1/2 cup of other vegetables or 1/2 cup of vegetable juice. Fruits: 1 medium fruit (the size of a baseball); 1/2 cup chopped, cooked or canned fruit; or 1/2 cup juice.

    One suggestion, but not part of the challenge: Please post at least one picture of a healthy meal you eat this week. It provides great ideas for everyone in our game! And remember to make healthy food choices in other food groups but we are not measuring those for this challenge.

    I will ask at the end of the week starting on Friday if you completed the challenge. You will need to click on comment below that post and report in there. You will have until 12:00 PM (noon) Pacific Time on Saturday to report in. I will then put all the players who completed this weeks challenge into our drawing for a $40 Amazon gift card!

I'm doing the challege. I love the old FIRM workout videos. They're on the GAIA app on my Roku. $10 a month and tons of workout videos. I do these when it's too dark or cold to jog outside.

I just wanted to share a little something with you guys... I am so wowed. I could never ever lose weight- I'd diet, fast, workout 3hrs per day etc and nothing, but a week ago I started the 4 hour body method... And idk how it happened but I weighed myself this morning and I lost 2.5kg since last week. And I'm not even doing a regular version, but a vegan modification! If someone fights those stubborn kilograms, maybe you'd like to read the book too
