I don’t know why sometimes I’m perfectly comfortable (mentally, emotionally, etc) feeling a little hungry and resisting the urge to snack or eat junk - and other times feeling hunger almost makes me feel like I’m on the verge of a panic attack and every 5 min or so I think “I need food”.

For the past couple months I’ve been in the first state just cruising along making healthy choices and such.

Then for the past week I’ve been in the second state - I ate a 400 calorie healthy breakfast. It’s only just after 10 am, and my mind thinks I’m in desperate need of more food. It’s frustrating.

You poor thing, this is exactly how I am when I'm hungry. Maybe try adding more veggies to your protein to fluff your diet, or snack on some fruit when you need a little extra... some days you're just hungry


I am no expert- but protein seems to make me full longer. Perhaps a half of a protein shake mid morning and the other half mid afternoon? Or more protein in your meals? Or water - lots of water.

Tips for staying motivated when you know you're falling behind on goals? This is my 3rd transformer in the last yearish. I always make round 1 but I've gotten so close to my ultimate goal that losing the amount round 2 requires is too much too soon if I want to be healthy.
Note, my last transformer i lost 75% of goal and i was thrilled to pay $125 to get there, just looking for tips to stay motivated when the goal is too high.

Yeah, I've been having trouble with this round's goal and my mom made fun of me for wasting money but then I thought that I've almost lost the most you can lipo at one time so I'm basically ahead.

It's hard, no joke. I find the more active I am on these boards the better I do. This month has been hard but I'm not giving up. Transformers are about committing to a long term goal and that means you'll slip up, you'll do better, you'll slip up again, but keep pressing forward making small changes one at a time. It's not about being perfect, its about doing better and adapting your crazy life to meet your goals... I'm struggling right along side you but I'm not giving up, keep going!

So I have a question, the rules say that we must hit 6% lost by round 5 to be able to play in round 6. I made the first round, but we have a trip to Las Vegas planned for Aug 28-31. I know we can weigh in Sept 1-2, but I'm not sure that will reverse the damage done in Vegas. So, if I don't make weight next month, am I out? I prepaid the whole 6 months.

The weighing in within 48 hours though will only work if it’s an approved weigh in from either your weekly membership weigh in’s (I’m not a member so this was never an option for me) or if you did one from another game that was needing a weigh in at that time. I actually planned a kickstarter once to end the day I was leaving for a trip, so while I was on a trip the following day I could use that weigh in! So, just an FYI about using a weigh in from a day or two earlier, it has to be approved and not for this game. However they also allow a one time weigh in via email ahead of time. But I would hesitate to use that unless absolutely necessary!


I will be returning from vacation on Sep. 2 so I'm hoping we get back in time to weigh in. If not, I'll just have to forfeit that round and keep going.
You have to reach at least 6% by the end of round 5 to compete in round 6, because they don't want people taking extreme, unhealthy measures to try to lose too much in the last round just to win. But we have plenty of time for that! Have fun in Vegas!

I recommend mixed frozen veggies, with a cup of beans or chickpeas, maybe some other protein of choice, tiny bit of oil or a teaspoon of Parmesan. Then microwave it with the spice mix of the day, maybe even add water to make it a soup. Yum!
My work lunch about 80% of the time.

I'm also a busy college student as well. I like to use my crockpot to make chicken or soups but whatever you throw in, it's done by the time you get home.

My mother-in-law moved in permanently with us yesterday. She is very thin and very health conscious, and she has so many food allergies that she barely can eat anything. (She also chooses not to eat sugar... EVER.) I will be doing most of the cooking, so finding things she can/will eat should be a fun challenge. Though, to be honest, I might also eat ALL THE pizza and donuts when she's not around. 😬

I found I binge less when I forgive myself more. I'm human. I will slip. I can't let that slip push me into another binge. The key (for me) is understanding acknowledging and starting over again with the next thing I eat, not the next day or week.

Nwg would be 33minutes jogging straight. That would get me to an 11min each avg for a mile. On treadmill I can do one in 8min and 30sec but it all falls apart after that.


One NWG for me is to be able to shop anywhere for clothes. I hate being plus size - clothes are more limited and more expensive!
