Non-scale victory of the week!

I didn't feel guilty about enjoying all the holiday meals and I also decided not to wait until next week to start a new diet bet and also a new step bet. I feel like even though I gained it wasn't as bad as I thought. I think when you lose it slowly it feels like your stomach shrinks and you dont eat as much as you use to eat.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could have stopped snack late at night. I was snacking mindlessly while watching TV. and that is a habit I need to break. I love crunchy snacks and I need to find something else that is not high in calories but still crunchy.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

start getting in the mindset of FOCUS on dietbet and stepbet and start Journaling again. I'm snowbirding in a warmer state and forgot my main scale so I'm using a new scale. and it looks like I lost weight but I think this new scale is more forgiving. well I will use this same scale at the end of the dietbet so it will be a true account of my weight. I will attend any Q and As and learn new tips on how to stay focused!!!

Non-scale victory of the week!

I decided to rest a week before joining a new stepbet and dietbet and noticed I still kept good habits to keep portions and calories low. I did gain back a couple of lbs but I wanted my body to not feel so deprived. I had a big steak dinner last night with friends and didn't feel guilty. I knew I was going to get back on the horse today and be really focused for the next 4 weeks. I want success but that mean trying hard to maintain and not feeling that I have to deprive myself of a great dinner out with friends!!! I'm excited to start a new bet. good luck everyone and find that internal motivation to lose at a slow and steady rate.
