So I missed this rounds goal, but I'm really seeking solice in fact that I have maintained my weight and I am back focused for my next round. WE'LL DONE WINNERS! This round for me has been dominated by no gym (my stress relief) and physio after a car accident where someone ploughed into me. Usually I would have reached straight for food as a comfort, but your group has really helped motivate me even from the injury bench ๐Ÿ˜‚I think 4.6lbs in 29 days is really achievable, especially considering my wedding is in November.. Right? Ive lost 15lbs so far so I'm going to focus on that!
Last night my grandad on the phone said rather morbidly, "we all die if we worry, and die if we don't, so why worry? ". His mantra has really helped!!! SO HERE GOES... A DAY AT A TIME!

So glad youโ€™re ok after the car accident and you have absolutely got this! And I love the message from your grandad. I need to listen to that myself!

Love this kind of post! Adversity (car accident) is not going to stop you and it totally shows! If more people shared this kind of drive we would be way better off as people, you got this! Thank you for the shared motivation!

  • Hi everyone,
I won round one, but haven't yet received nay credit on my account? Does the game accumulate the credit and only pay at the end?
Anyone with experience be able to help me?
Thanks everyone for your posts, honesty and support x x x

Vegan Dad

  • You should see "you won"and the amount on this screen, payout is at the end of the game

Hey, everyone. Could really use your tips. After missing my last weigh-in after really giving it my all, Iโ€™ve since had gallbladder removal surgery (last Thursday) and was told by my surgeon not to workout for about a month.

Iโ€™m so bummed out, especially after the progress Iโ€™ve made since January, and Iโ€™m terrified of losing that progress and momentum.

Anyone experience this and have tips? Alsoโ€”will this bloating ever go away?!

Surgery makes your body retain water while it heals. It will go down in a few days. Feel better soon!

Focus on diet, water and lots of walking. The bloating will get better. You can still do this

  • What's everyone's favourite breakfast? I keep craving eggs! Can you eat too many eggs? I ate 4 today? I'm taking vitamins too, and eating lots of veg it's all most bizarre!

Same. I love eggs. I usually fry mine into a patty with canola spray and wrap it in a tortilla with sausage patties and avocado for an after workout snack... I also have omelettes for dinner regularly :egg:

Eggs are INCREDIBLE for you. Your liver will benefit from this diet switch up!

You paid 35 bucks. Half of that is waiting in the big pot of round 6.
So you MADE MONEY this round because you win more than 17.50.
...just in case anyone is wondering ;)

For anyone that wants a more thorough breakdown, because I love math and a I have a spreadsheet for almost all of this (but not this particular calculation). Also, this assumed you paid the $175 up front, and you're not month to month. Month to month have a different calculation.

You paid $175.
$17.50 was wagered in this round.
If you won round 1, you got $23.63
That breaks down to $17.50 of your own money being returned to you, and $6.13 of gains.
You still have $157.50 in the pot.

Vee B.

Hi Robert, I won and exactly as you said was pleased to see 23.63 on my round winnings. But this hasn't translated to points? Or money on my account, do you know if the game only pays at the end? Any advice appreciated! You seem to have a head for this!

  • Obsessed with my new flask! Didn't realise how dehydrated I was! Feel better and I really think it's helped me eat more intuitively! Definitely recommend! Far less snack, despite working from home this week due to isolation!

I've seen others like this - I think it's a great idea!

It holds 2L, and in all honesty I tend to drink two a day if I hit the gym! Lifted my mood, and feel less sluggish in general!

  • Treated myself to some Cushionaire sandals. Got them free with credit card points. Not really weight loss related but maybe fitness related to wear kicky summer footwear instead of hiking boots (post-op ankle). I'll probably bring boots on the trip in case of any extended walking. Toe loops a little tight but hopefully will break in.

So cute! And what a fun reward for yourself!

Look like my Birkenstocks, I live and die in them when I'm not in trainers!

I think it's a success! My weight loss trend continues in a mostly downward arc, and if my weight loss has slowed down, I can still see progress in so many ways!

Vee B.

I'm getting a bit dishearten at present but then I did my biometrics today, awesome machines, and over the last 5 weeks I've swapped 6kg of fat for muscle, which ain't good for diet bet but it's good for my life goals!!! Hang in there... Maybe do the old string trick for measurements, hide them in an envelope for a few weeks time! Good luck x
