I’m so so disappointed with this experience. If I had to give our host a score for being motivational and supportive, the score would be a 1 out of 10.

I made my goal despite the lack of support.

Losing weight is a challenge. And the idea IS that a person hosting a bet will be here to support others with their knowledge and experience. Our host has lost weight, knows the difficulty and importance of supporting others through this challenge.

Why even open a DietBet group if you’re not here to support others on a journey.

I’m really disappointed and I wish I could give you a score so no one else joins your group.
I already spoke with DietBet this and they are working on allowing participants to score group hosts.

At this point I want the host to know that you’re not at all deserving of the money you have made off of us.

Maybe it’s my fault for having expectations of a host to do something in supporting our process.

Aw, are you hangry Nancy? Just because we won doesn’t mean we can’t be disappointed. If she wants to continue to get paid by people in the game to host bets then we have the right to expect more than “here, pay me for doing nothing.”

Dear Nancy,
It sounds like you either are friends with the host or are super angry in life.

I made my bet!!! And I’m proud of myself and I worked hard and I’m emotionally and mentally healthy. I do not need her to hold my hand. But if she is making 5% of the money, yes, I do expect her to show up everyday and support the group.
Yes, I do. Losing weight is a challenge. If it wasn’t YOU and I would not be here. We would not be putting money to help us be successful.
I think that because it’s a challenge, someone who’s not willing to put in the time should never ever open a group.
Anyone here needs support, that’s why we’re here. No one is getting rich off of this app. No one is going to make money here, really, so we’re here because we want to be part of a community. And the hosts responsibility is to build and support it.
And no, I’m not insulted by you, nor did you piss me off.
What does upset me is that shes making all this money and doesn’t have the decency to apologize or take responsibility.

Trying to experiment with my eating habits to see what works best for my body. I usually work out in the mornings and I can not work out on an empty stomach. So, I’ve decided to try to consume only liquids after 3 pm. I’m hoping that this will help me get out of the habit I have of constantly snacking due to bordem at night. Wish me luck, I’ll give updates !

Well I've been sick with a cold for a week and now I have a lower back tweak problem so I totally feel your pain. Just ask yourself 'what is the least amount I can do that I know I can do to make sure I don't feel like poo tonight?' Always seemed to help me

BodyFast is an app. It is a paid app. It tells you when to eat, gives you 2-3 goals (like healthy meal, walk and brush teeth, no escalators, etc.) take measurements. This is week 2 for me and they threw in a whole day of fasting instead of one meal a day, or small windows

I like dates filled with almond butter!


I always want ice cream in the warm months so I make sure I always have oranges/halos/clementines/etc. in the fridge. When I eat them cold it helps satisfy that ice cream/sweet craving.
