Keto seems all the rage. I can't seem to lose weight on Keto. Maybe it's because I could probably eat my weight in cheese. LOL I count calories. Anyone else have Keto issues?

Yes cheese is exactly my problem too! Keto didn’t work for me as well as cutting dairy

I very much limit my cheese. It will stall me. I usually have an oz every couple of days and that works good for me. And I never eat it alone, it’ll be in a sandwich or part of my dinner.

I don’t post a lot but I need to just get it out there that I went overboard on the weekend. I relaxed on my carb intake (doing lowcarb) and ate too many calories.

I can still make my weight but Ill need to work hard. I pondered why and I figured out something about myself. I end up going more out of control when I budge just a little bit. If I cheat or eat even a little bit off my plan, I tend to lose more control and convince myself it’s ok.

Knowing that now I think can make it easier to stick to my goals because I know I won’t be able to handle “just a little”. Hope you all do well this last week!

I have that same problem. You think it’s ok cuz you’ll lose it again but then end up losing control and 1 meal turns into a whole weekend then it turns into a whole week. It’s better for me to just say no and stick to what I have planned. At least until I know I can control myself


S**t happens, don't let it define you or force yourself to over-compensate. Go back to what you were doing before and hit each daily target as it comes. I am low-carb as well, had the odd day over 100g of carbs, still losing, still on target. We will win this challenge!

I had a huge “monthly” craving for a Big Mac Meal today. But I live in the middle of Canada and we are going through a deep freeze. It got up to -27C today. This means my power windows were frozen and wouldn’t work. So I went home and had a healthier dinner. I guess that is one advantage of the cold.

Hahaha! That has happened to me, too! Sadly, it only saved from a black Timmy's not the "monthly" Big Mac.


Have you ever tried the keto big mac in a bowl? I really shortened my recipe to basically a salad with ground turkey on it with calorie free/low cal thousand island dressing.

Just hit my monthly goal this morning and submitted it in. Question now is when the approve the weight am I good for this round or will I have to submit another one next week? I have no issues doing so just have to remember lol

Yes, the only weigh-ins that matter are the ones you have to do at the end of every month. You'll get an alert and/or email saying you got X amount of time to submit an official weigh-ins. All other weigh-ins don't count to determining if you achieved the monthly goal or not. It's good to track your progress through the month by logging it here, but the only one you have to care about is the ones at the end of the month. And again, Dietbet will send out an email reminder or alert via the app.
