  • Weigh ins begin TONIGHT at midnight and run through Tuesday at midnight. If you’re super close just get a good workout in tonight , try to eat lower sodium foods and lots of water! DO NOT take any extreme measures. Do not starve yourself. That defeats the entire purpose of everything I have been preaching to you. If you don’t make it is OKAY. Celebrate how far you’ve come! Physically but most important, MENTALLY This doesn’t end when the game ends. Don’t think of this as the finish line and just go right back to old habits. Continue this journey regardless of where you are right now. Keep up the meal planning. Keep up the healthy habits you’ve been building. The water goal. And remember when the game ends you might lose some motivation but MOTIVATION DOES NOT LAST. You have to be disciplined to get where you want to be. When the motivation fades are you just going to give up? NO. Success comes when you push through and do what you have to do even when you don’t want to. YOU. GOT. THIS!!!!!💖

  • GOODMORNING and happy Tuesday! It’s TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY but I want to hear about those mental transformations. This journey is so much more then just the physical. If we aren’t transforming INSIDE, it’s almost impossible to sustainable that physical transformation.

    I’ll share! I’ve been on my journey for 3 years now. You guys know I am currently on vacation. We got Duck Donuts (a dozen) yesterday morning. Before I started my journey I EASILYYYY would’ve binged and ate the entire box by myself. In one sitting. I would spend my vacation in my room, eating food/snacks/drinks and not even spending time outside on the beach. I was so lethargic and all I wanted to do was eat. NOW I spend my time with my family, walking around the area with my kiddos, hanging at the beach. I had my protein coffee, a donut and a few bites of 2 others just to taste 😂 COMPLETLY satisfied. Today my husband went to mcdonalds for breakfast sandwiches. Just the thought of how bloated and sick I would feel had me stick to my protein coffee and a healthy eating bar. I feel GOOD and happy. Food doesn’t control my life anymore

I have always been an emotional eater. I went from being size 4 to weighing 268 lbs. and lost 107 lbs. only to gain 40 lbs. back again during the past year due to stress from a divorce and more emotional eating. Well, enough is enough! I am eating healthy, I am feeling better and I’m a much better role model for my son. I know I’m worth it and I just keep reminding myself of that.


Last month I gave up SUGAR, diet soda, most carbohydrates including BEER.. which was tough for me but now I don’t even crave any of it! It’s nuts, I was a craft beer snob and Diet Coke addict, those who relate know those cravings are STRONG! I made a point to learn more about the damage they do to my body. It finally clicked in my head and now I feel so free. :rainbow: :sunny:

    Today I wanted to talk about healthy alternatives. We are human, we crave foods! Its normal! And it’s OKAY to satisfy that craving. It is important for us to satisfy that craving in some way, otherwise it can lead to the restricting feeling that ends up in a full blown binge or massive overeating.

    One of the KEY things I did on my journey of losing -147 lbs was HEALTHY ALTERNATIVES! Finding healthier options of the things I was craving. Now that won’t ALWAYS satisfy that craving so if I was REALLY craving that mcdonalds cheeseburger for a week or so and an alternative wasn’t cutting it, I would get 1 in moderation and move on! However, making a juicy cheeseburger at home with all the toppings can be just as good and make you feel a sense of accomplishment, and probably won’t leave you with a massive stomach ache haha

    My 2 ingredient pizzaand COPYCAT KFC BOWL are examples
    I used to get a KFC famous bowl everyday in high school (I know…..I didn’t get over 300 lbs eating fruit 😑🙈) ANYWAY. Now I make them at home with healthier mashed potatoes, air fried chicken, lower fat cheese, gravy and corn! ITS LEGIT BETTER THEN THE ONE FROM KFC!!

    Small changes like this can make a huge difference so you aren’t feeling deprived of the things you love! I want you to comment down below a healthier alternative to one of your favorite foods that you’re willing to try this week (add into your meal plan for week 3)

    So as you guys know, I had a wedding this weekend and a little trip to Michigan. I ate in moderation, enjoyed my time. We had pizza, alcohol, cake, etc. I weighed in this morning for my weekly weigh in and I am up 4 "pounds"

    Now for a lot of people, that is a SHOCK. A lot of people would think "wow I can't even enjoy myself a little without ruining my progress" or "I just blew it, might as well quit". I know this because THAT WAS MY MINDSET FOR SO LONG!!!!! But over the last 3 years of this journey I have learned how NOT true that is. This is part of the journey. Understanding weight fluctuations is part of the journey. Learning to get right back to your normal routine is PART OF THE JOURNEY.

    So today I am back home, back to drinking my water, back to working out, back to eating my normal meals. I am not starving myself. I am not going to the gym for 3 hours of cardio. I am going back to NORMAL. So stay tuned for tomorrow when I weigh in and show you the difference. I want you guys to know that this will happen. You did not ruin a week/few weeks worth of progress in just a few days.
