  • Treated myself to a smart fitbit. I never buy myself anything but between what I'm going through with my sleep and overall just wanting to keep up with my "health reports", I felt this was a good investment.

Sarah- I've had insomnia my whole life but right now I may be dealing with sleep apnea. I went to the sleep doctor last week and he's concerned that my sleep apnea is coming from something else so I have to do another test in April. In the meantime, this watch has helped me to see alot of what I go through in my sleep. Last night was the first report I have gotten and wow, it's shocking.

P D- I totally agree with that statement. I switched to some phone from android and felt it was only right to get a Apple Watch and retire my Fitbit but couldn’t do it. I use my Apple during the day and sleep with my Fitbit because it has the best sleep tracker and that’s when I charge my Apple Watch since it requires daily charging.

Those two pounds are strictly water weight - your muscles hanging on to water after the shock of the weight lifting. You’ll loose it within a couple of days and see yourself burning fat so much faster!! The same thing happened to me this week - I started hitting the gym again and lifting heavy weights, and I found the scale to be unhappy with me. But a couple of days later I was already back and loosing even more (and my clothes fit better!) dont loose hope!!

It’s likely inflammation! Drink lots of water and anti-inflammatory helpers (ginger, turmeric, etc).

  • Week 6 workout 1 done. Treadmill kicked my butt. Did get my sprint speed to 6.4. I remember on week 1 I was happy to get the sprint speed between 5 - 5.5

    Did not finish my 4th workout last week but I was off work and slept a lot, apparently I needed rest and sleep from my job. Back at it will get 4 this week.

Rest is just as important as getting those workouts in! It can help break plateaus and ready your body and come back better and stronger! Well done on increasing your sprint speed!
