    Just a few of my goals are:
    • Be consistent in planning my meals. That is the key to sticking to a healthy diet.
    • Workout for 6 days
    • Eat earlier.
    • Get more sleep

Hello my name is Norma and this is my third Dietbet. I won the first two by sticking to my diet most of the time. It definitely can be done. My goal is to reverse the weight gain which results in high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc. I’m getting older and I don’t desire having to take more medication. I also don’t like the way I look in the mirror. So remember that what you eat is the most important thing! I had enough and this train is in reverse!

Friends, I need some encouragement. Tomorrow is my birthday and a good friend cancelled their plans with me 😥 it's not sickness or an emergency either, it's something I feel I should have taken precedence over...any tips besides running to the fridge?

I'm tired.

I'm tired of being this weight.

I'm tired of the fight.

I also mean I'm exhausted. I get 8 hours of Cpap monitored good sleep and I'm still exhausted. I fall asleep at work. Watching TV, you name it. Already tested for narcolepsy, nope. The wife says it's the weight. I'm not at my heaviest, but I AM at my oldest. I don't know whether or not to beleive her. Doctors NEVER have the guts to give you a straight answer. Has anyone else experienced this?

I need help with BOTH.

I feel if I wasn't this tired, the weight loss fight would be easier.

Any words of wisdom?

Are you eating your 5 fruits and vegetables a day? That honestly is one of the easiest ways to have more energy. It has to be 5 different fruits and veg a xay


Ok, thanks for all the feedback. I've been blood tested several times over the years. Slight vit D deficiency. I take a multi vitamin and vit D. I've been tested after that and the test comes back aces. Truth be said, not enough fruits and vegetables, too many carbs and too much sugar. That should make a world of difference. I'll give that a try. Not to knock keto, I know quite a few people who have done well on it, but it seems too much like Atkins to me. So, thank you, but I'll pass on that for now.

You eat an elephant one bite at a time. Don’t think about the total pounds that you want to lose, just the present game you are in. You can do it.

Looking forward to this one. Starting over again. Did a transformer from Jan-June and lost the weight, but felt so deprived for so long that I gained it all back from July-September. So no more transformers for me. I do much better with a series of kickstarters. I wish I'd never switched up. I feel like I would have made a lot of progress by now.

I have been struggling this time around. Im not sure why. When I say why, I mean mentally.I have not lost weight. I have gained. Usually DBs keep me in line. I really feel off the rails. I wish I knew what to do. I do not mind losing DB at all. But, usually it has kept me losing a few pounds or at least maintaining. I know I’m eating less healthy and not walking as much. My legs ache every night in bed though. I’m having a lot of trouble getting back on the train. I feel like I have been fighting myself lately. I’m so tired of the mental battle. I’m obviously losing the battle. I just keep trying to get my head back in the right space every day. I have lost just over 100 lbs total. 40 with DBs. But slowly creeping up. 😟
