  • What a great call with Ilana today! Definitely recharged me for the weekend! Tonight was a use what’s left in the fridge and freezer night! Tofu, cauliflower rice, spinach, onion, pepper, tomato stir fry with a little sweet and Smokey glaze. Turned out great!

I have major anxiety about a group trip I have planned with 4 families. We had a meal planning party but trust me, with picky kid eaters and adults who do not have the same health goals in mind the trip is going to be tough. I plan on bringing my own stuff but also don’t want to be totally singled out for eating the healthy things when everyone is having pasta and tacos. Each family is taking a meal to cook so I feel bad if I choose not to eat what they made. I also don’t want my food choices to be commented on… I would rather not have to delve into explaining why I am eating healthy. Help!

I have a question about water additives, not necessarily your liquid enhancers to drink more water.

sWhat are your thoughts on liquid IV? I know it is full of sodium which may cause water rendition, but I love the taste and hydrating aspect of the product. Same with Beachbody energize.

Is collagen beneficial to be adding to water? If so, is there a particular time of time and what would collagen be considered (protein, FFC, accessory)?

I’m really struggling with dinner and done tonight. I had a salad with 3 hard boiled eggs for dinner and I am starving 😩 drinking more water…I guess more veggies right?

If I feel I’m still so hungry I will grab a small handful of cashews or almonds. Maybe a celery stick with pb. And more water. I really feel like this when I’m near or on my period. And at that time your body is telling you you need a little more. Just dont over indulge. You got this!

Non scale victory today and I’ve been wanting to post all day about it but have been so busy with work! Had client presentations today and tried a pair of work pants I haven’t been able to wear in over a year and today they fit! Not snuggly or anything…just fit!! I was soooo excited! If that doesn’t motivate me to keep going, I don’t know what would?! Such a good feeling!!!

  • Hi wonderful (mostly) women!! While following 2B mindset 80% of the time and eating 4 meals per day, I bumped up my calories with my nutritionist to over 1750 calories average per week (from 1000-1200 calories-no wonder I have been yo-yo dieting my whole life! ????). I incorporate some high calorie days and some low calorie days to rev up my calories, as I found out my resting metabolism is 1750 per day before exercise 😮 I have been eating more protein, veggies and full fiber carbs and eat between 10-6 most days.
    And I have lost .5 lbs since I started recently! 😃

I am currently 1 pound less than goal weight for this bet! But holding strong and staying focused to finish out with no surprises as I tend to fluctuate a lot this time of the month!! I’m so excited that I have actually lost weight in December! Thank you for your zooms. I have only been able to make one live session but have listened to all the taped sessions and it is sooo helpful and motivating! Thank you!

  • I have not reached goal weight yet. I am DETERMINED to have a weight loss weekend. But there's a cookie party tonight at church. So here's my plan: eat an early supper, have my water with me, and some 2b Mindset cookie dough. I told my hubby this plan and he's going to help me. My goal is to eat not. One. Bite. Of. Cookie. Because I love them too much to be able to stop. What do you think?
