Ugh. Yep. I had actually hit goal weight at the beginning of the month and the last two weeks have been eating a ton, consuming more sugar and doing zero exercise. Uuuugh! So I'm now 2lbs heavier than where I need to be. Yesterday, I started buckling down again. Need to adjust be drinking more water!!!!

  • I love seeing people’s transformation pictures. I started my WLJ before I started this challenge, and I am currently down 65lbs from my heaviest weight, over a year ago. I try to be super realistic and not go too extreme because then it isn’t sustainable for me long term. Dieting all my adult life on and off has taught me a lot about what I can and can’t do long term. Moderation is the biggest key for me. Drinking lots of water too!

I think it’s required to do the official weigh in at round 5 and 6 but this is my first go as well.

The “official weigh ins/outs” at the end of each month are to check eligibility for your split of the pot for that particular round. You’re encouraged to weigh in at the end of each round even if you don’t meet your goal (probably easier to catch cheaters). You are *required* to weigh in at the end of Round 5 (end of June I think, don’t quote me) because they have to verify that you’ve lost at least 6% from your original weight (no dangerous dashes to the finish line allowed!!)

Either way, you’re still eligible for Round 2!! Just be sure to officially weigh-in when it ends (I.e. April 1-2) :thumbsup:

I was shocked today to find out that I have hit my round 1 goal. Feels really good! I have decided to cut out all fast food and limiting candy and desserts to one piece of chocolate a day and desserts no more than 2 a week. I have a quite a strong sweet tooth so this might be hard but it needs to happen to reach my goals and improve my health.

So the motto I have adopted (from one of the books Ive been using for my I.F tips) for how I deal with the sweets because I also have an incredibly large sweet tooth is “delay don’t deny”.... if you’re out of the house, tell yourself you will wait to go home to make something. Then once you’re home you have to actually make it before you can have it and 9 times out of 10 I will just say forget it because I have other things to do or I’ll go online and fine a healthier snack/sweets option and make that instead or else eat a fruit.


If you deny yourself of the cravings it will be a huge roadblock so just have the mindset of delaying instead of denying

I went a bit off plan with Valentine’s dinner but passed on the chocolate/peanut butter ice cream my hubby bought for dessert. (That was so hard!) I’ve got almost 4 lbs to lose by the end of the month to make my Kickstarter goal but I’m determined to get there.


I feel this way too, just take one day at a time. Progress is Progress. 10 pounds or 10 ounces. Don't forget to count the NSVs too!
