My weight has been stalled within the same 5 pounds for about 2 months. So I started trying to get into a running habit at the beginning of this month with RunBet.

Been fairy consistent with it and it’s getting somewhat easier. I usually run in the evenings but with the weather getting more humid and hot, I decided to try running in the morning. Felt good to get it done before I started my day but the change in the time of day was a shock to my system and I’m more drained from it.

Still got a few pounds to make this month’s goal but attempting to keep having healthy habits that I can continue for the rest of my life, instead of a temporary diet for fast weight loss.

Yeah definitely. I hate running (it’s mostly in my head) but I don’t like losing the bet so I get it done. The one I’m in increases from 0.5 miles to 2 miles over a course of 4 weeks. There are a bunch of different options you can get into so I like getting to pick which challenge I wanna do.


I agree about the lifelong habits. I figure if I can get those in place I won't gain the weight back!

Been struggling for a couple weeks...

I’m looking at my weight trend and see that since March 9, I’ve been up and down the same 5 ish pounds. That was around the time I played my last volleyball game as part of my city’s sports league, which have now all been cancelled. I think that that inactivity led to general overall inactivity.

So last weekend I finally decided to get back into exercising a bit more again, including join stepbet which has really helped me keep moving. Haven’t been super consistent with the exercise, other than walking though, so it hasn’t affected my weight too much. I’m noticing I have been overeating lately (time of month started a couple days ago too).

This next week I’m gonna attempt to cut out all sugars and grains to limit unhealthy foods along with going back to 20:4 IF instead of my usual 18:6 to try to make round 3 weight!

Water is huge for me too. Try for a calorie deficit of some kind and lots of water. Good luck you got this


Yeah I definitely keep up with my water intake at around 100oz everyday. And have been aiming for 1000 calorie deficit. Just some days it is only 500 calories though.

I’m only down 15 pounds since the beginning of the year, but...

According to my smart scale, I am now categorized down from ‘obese’ to ‘overweight’ in the weight, BMI and body type categories, and from ‘high’ to ‘acceptable’ category for visceral fat!

Had reached onederland for round 2 weigh in but then got lazy in my workouts for the past couple weeks and shot back up 5 pounds...
Decided to change up my diet instead this past week by cutting out sugar and grains, and increasing IF to 20:4.
I have now successfully stayed under 200 for a few days, for the first time in about 10 years!!!
