  • I have done 37 (450 stairs) floors at work today and i still have 4 hours left. I am tired tonight! Gonna jump on the bike here in a few to try and get my blood pumping to stay awake! Those are the tanks i climb to get my stairs in.

  • When it comes to sweets and treats, do you cut back or cut out when you are actively trying to lose weight? For me its easier not to take the first bite. However some people are able to satisfy their sweet tooth with small amounts of treats, like a square of dark chocolate. Which side do you fall on. In the long run a healthy lifestyle is easier to maintain if you practice moderation instead of deprivation. So what is your strategy?

  • I don’t want to see this as a diet, so I try to be as realistic as possible. One of my favorite sweets is caramel and ice cream. It’s not realistic to never have it again. So, I choose a healthier version, eat an actual serving size (2/3 cup) and just count it into my calories. I generally eat a variation of this 4-5 nights a week.

It is easier for me to say moderation is key at home. When I am out, I pick one sweet treat ahead of time that if they have it, I will have a small piece, if they don’t it is much easier to walk away from the dessert table.

Hello! I've done a couple diet bets in the past, but this is the first time I have done a larger bet. I was worried this time around I wouldn't care about losing $35, because I have gone back to my stress-eating ways, and those ways are hard to break. Since I started working from home I have gained back 15 pounds that was previously lost through keto and walking. Ugh. I thankfully didn't gain back ALL the weight I previously lost....but I'm still so frustrated. I knew I needed to stop this regain cycle in it's tracks, so that's why I am here. Good luck everyone! 😊
