I gained 4lbs since I started- it was 4lbs of fat because honestly I fell off my game stopped exercising and had a couple emotional breakdowns. Here I am again. Ready to take on a greater challenge. Another line in the sand!

I'm feeling the same. I'm almost back to where I started even though I made Round 1 goal. Emotional eating set me back. We just gotta keep on trying. I believe we will get to our goal, and maintain the healthy habits we are learning to succeed for long term.
This will take some hard work and focus, but we can do this!

Ugh! I don't want to be a downer but I want to quit. I won round 1 but I just want to give up. My eating has been soooo out of control this round-its shameful. I know I can't quit on myself but I'm just not feeling this anymore.

Well IF doesn’t work well as last minute resource if you haven’t done it before or adapted your body to do it and use the fat as resource. The first days you do it the chances your body will hold water and weight is high. To me it does happen

Personally I enjoy IF I have more energy can think straight - and it helps me focus and detach unhealthy feelings of food!

At the beginning food and I were not in a good relationship because it had controlled me- last night was the first time in a month that I ate a sandwich, my body doesn’t handle gluten and dairy, and today I feel gross - I ate what I felt last night.

IF has helped me curb the cravings! Keto has helped me loose inflammation! All together a better life :blush:

Yay! I made it!

I have a question-does anyone know if you're ahead of goal in first round, does that advantage stay with you in the next round or does DB take that new weight and calculate a new weight percentage to lose in the next round? In other words, are all the rounds calculated off your beginning weight, or do the rounds recalculate at each round weigh in weight?

I am pretty sure I am making absolutely NO sense....LOL

Your goal weight doesn’t change for each round even if you lose extra. It’s based on your original weigh in

The goals for all rounds are based on your starting weight. If you lose extra in one round it absolutely goes toward your next round goal!! Congrats on your success!

Anybody else have this annoyance:
You move the electronic scale to do a weigh in and after recalibrating, the scale goes up? For me it went up 0.4 lbs from what it said before I moved it.
Makes me not like the scale ☹

I have had that problem. I switched to the Fitbit scale and it seems to be a bit better - but the main reason I only weigh in the same spot and use a selfie stand for taking pics since I don’t have a long mirror on hardwoods

Only weigh yourself in the spot where you take the pictures. I have a free standing mirror that I move. Previously I would prop my phone up and then use the timer setting to take the pictures so they were in the spot where I typically weighed in.

Waiting to be verified. Needed to lose 1.3 from Wednesday morning. Lots of cardio —over 20,000 steps past 2 days and followed food plan strictly past 2 days and ended up down 2lbs!!!!

Congrats on making it! I was on point Monday then went up Tuesday and have been fighting the scale all week. Pushed myself this morning with an hour and a half treadmill and bike and of course no food until I was verified. Onto round 2 - good luck

Fingers crossed I can keep moving in the right direction. As of this morning I have hit my 1st goal so now I just need to maintain or move past it until we weigh in officially. I wasn’t able to do this on my last challenge so have been trying the intermittent fasting at times and of course trying to get that water in - it seems to be working for me. Good luck everyone!
