Congratulations! We had 43 game winners, and lost a total of 427.4 pounds! Congratulations on reaching your goals and for those who still made progress that is a win!

It's time to announce our Grand Prize drawing winner! As a reminder the Grand Prize drawing had all the game winners in it, and one name was randomly chosen to win a $100 Amazon gift card or PayPal cash. I made a list of all the winners and assigned each person a number. Then I ran a random number generator to select the winner!

Monica, here is how the math worked out:
Total pot was $6,400
DietBets portion is 20%= $1,280
That left $5,120 to split among the 43 game winners.
5120/43= $119.07

Thanks for clarifying! The previous games I’ve done didn’t have a portion cut out to DietBet so that’s what I wasn’t sure about.

Halfway through the week and successful in meeting all of my goals for the final challenge! I have a Peloton and have been following a workout calendar from a Facebook group called Hardcore on the Floor and I love it. When I combine that with following my nutrition plan (I use WW) + getting my water in, I always see results!

  • Does it help you to switch things up or do you prefer to keep your routine the same? We're all different. If consistency in your workouts and diet helps keep you on target then that's the way to do it for sure. But if you find you're having a hard time staying motivated, it may be your body telling you that you need to try something different, whether that's a new workout, a new setting to exercise in, or just something different to add to your meal plan.
    So how do you switch things up and keep yourself going and motivated if you ever find yourself stuck or having a hard time staying focused on your goals?

  • I enjoy switching it up, more so with food than exercise.

    However, if I am feeling stuck it helps to look at an inspirational quote that I pinned as my screen saver (see picture attached). The frequent sight of it works for me! If a quote loses impact, I find another for the needs I have. The current quote- I will keep.

    Motivation/inspiration is what really preludes the commitment I have made to my health, and being the best version of myself. Once I have that, I remind myself I want this for me, and gradually I feel stronger and more confident about my choices as I begin to make better ones. There are other motivators in my life- external and internal.

    The most important thing for me is giving myself the things I need to move forward and that switch I make always begins in my mind, e.g., lovingly visualizing all that I want to do and then I try something new.

Consistency is key for me for sure. When I break off from my routine is when I start to spiral and gain weight again.
